We stayed 4 days here with my colleagues, actually by accident as we couldn't get a hotel in Hamburg due to the large number of visitors to the expo. …

It is a bit outdated hotel with no noise protection towards the very busy road. You feel you are sleeping at the road side which you in fact are. Traffic starts at 05 and sleep is over. |Friendly staff and country side breakfast. …

Did not accept credit cards, and gave no information about this when we booked. A long detour from our route, because of lacking customer service...

The hotel is a disaster, never again! I've never experienced anything so dirty and you don't have to pay immediately upon arrival. The breakfast was rather unsightly, hardly any choice of sausage or cheese and the milk was sour.

One star is still too much, the price for €99 per night without breakfast is completely unreasonable! The rooms and the entire hotel are completely outdated, run down and "shabby"! There really isn't any other way to say it. And as many have already written, the cleanliness is also a disaster. Cobwebs everywhere, a layer of dust on every surface, a messed up shower curtain... you can't really describe it. Unfortunately we had to rely on it because no other hotel had rooms available anywhere else. The restaurant was closed, there was nothing to eat or drink... at first we thought: well, it won't be as bad as some of the reviews about the "hotel" are... But, worse! Not again, not for just one night! Actually you should ask for the money back!

Apparently there has been a change of ownership or operator in the hotel. I've been there for a few years now. Last year in September the hotel thrived on the warmth of the boss. She and her team did their work with a lot of love and were open and warm to the wishes of the many guests. That made up for the small mistakes that had already been made. - Last weekend the gentleman at reception only spoke broken German, I wasn't sure whether he fully understood me. The rooms are and have always been simple and certainly not modern. In the bathroom there were dark spots on the wall in the bathtub on the side of the fittings at the joints that may soon turn black. Breakfast on Sunday was very carelessly prepared. The boiled eggs were cold, unlike before there was no cereal, no bread, no salmon, no scrambled eggs and no yogurt. There were lots of cold cuts at the buffet, but they probably couldn't have found a buyer because there were hardly any cars in the parking lot. The man who was still clearing when I came in left the room without finishing clearing the tables where breakfast had previously been served. He didn't come back even during my breakfast. The next day there was no one else present in the breakfast room, only someone briefly walked through the next room, but not a soul who asked whether there were any wishes or who cared anything else. I felt like I was the only guest. This stayed that way until departure. I was told that the room key should be thrown into the box at the entrance. The two men in the office didn't even look at me and greeted me less. This can only scare guests away!
