Worst hotel ever. Dirty and worn. The staff was unfriendly. See my pictures. Mold in the shower. Broken electricity sockets. The staff was not very helpful or friendly. Stop in the sink. When I called the reception they hang up on me before I even asked them about check out!

The hotel is fairly cheap, but our room was not cleaned at all. Big chunks of dust on the floor, remnants of other people’s feces in the toilet, clipped nails on the floor and long black hairs in the shower. If you care about cleanliness, I would advise you to choose another hotel.

This hotel has clearly some issues. The rooms are quite clearly not cleaned. The sheets were clean the towels were clean but there was dust literally everywhere. I had crumbs on the table from the previous guest. The rooms are outdated. The double bed had two mattresses of different thicknesses. The room is warm and opening the window lets in the noise of the very busy road outside. The last thing is the price, I paid 140 euros for a double room which is just ridiculous. The manager obviously has no respect for his or her paying guests. But the hotel was fully booked so why should they care. This hotel reflects badly on the Golden Tulip chain, I suspect I will not stay at this chain again. Life is too short for this type of hotel.

Close to Lübeck with good public transport connections to the centre. Nicely furnished and decorated. Staff were extremely helpful, even providing a bucket of water for checking a punctured bicycle tyre. The hotel is situated on a main road which can lead to quite a bit of noise at busy times when the window is fully open, although the room is silent when the window is closed.

Rooms are functional. My room had a fridge that does not work. The shower is good and the bed comfortable. Breakfast is reasonable with good regular options. If you are vegetarian fine vegan limited. WiFi is rubbish. Keeps dropping out. It turns off before midnight. Not a first world problem. Irritating and unnecessary in 2022. Emails downloads video call all impossible with this level of internet quality. Oh and they ask you to pay on arrival not when you leave. A first for me. Stay here if other options not available. Plan B- at best. Look for somewhere else if you can

The company I work for has a deal with this hotel so any of us that travel to Germany get put up here. I have my own cabin rentals so having a clean room is very important and the room was not clean. …

No problem, pretty nice hotel, good organization of breakfast just a coffee on the table was really bad, if there is something to improve, the can think about coffee machine 😉 Underground parking is a little tight but better than on the street. Couple restaurants around the hotel are good as well and bar just near the hotel if very familiar and good price. I’ll come again.
