We stayed in the old part of the hotel in a suite for 5 nights. We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are a bit dated but comfortable. The toilet had a bit of a sewer smell but not bad. I didn't enjoy trying to figure out the light switches. The spa was lovely and peaceful. The main restaurant food was delicious.

A very suitable location for business meetings, and probably one of the few of this kind in this area of Europe. Nice and helpful staff.|Try to get a rooms in the old park with see view - those are very nice and pleasant. Good breakfast buffet, above average.

It is rather seldom you step into a hotel and feel at home right away. This fantastic seaside hotel is one and it continued to surprise. The rooms are nice and well decorated with an amazing view of the Baltic see and the entrance to Lübeck and Travemünde. Sped the extra money a get a sea facing room.

Really good hotel with very service minded staff. The hotel has a nice spa departement with a few differens saunas. The food is good and there are lot to choose from.It is possible to charge the car for 7 euros for 6 hours, a very reasonable price. However, parking in the hotel park area, is a bit on the expensive side.We can easily come again.

I come back to this hotel some years later. The hotel and city are beautiful. This time I enjoyed also the swimmingpools, really well done. Unfortunately I had unwanted guests in my bed. In two different days I found two big spiders from different "families" on the bed. In the bathroom I saw also small silverfishes. I took a photo of the second spider and I showef at reception. After a bit of complaints they change me the room but they gave me smaller room, even if same category. So customer care...not good. The guy at reception was kind of laughfing. My colleagues and friends were disgusted looking at spider photo. Nevertheless second room was without guests in the bed.Food was good, breakfast has everything also a juicer to make celery juice. They took care of my food intollerances at dinner. My suggestion to the hotel is to disinfect the rooms and to improve customer care.6 years earlier: A beautiful hotel in an amazing city

We visited this place from Monday to Wednesday. The hotel location is great, right just across the beach (300m across the road and a park). The room have been renovated and is rather large, spacious and comfy beddings.. Unfortunately it was so hot that we couldn't sleep the 2 nights we were there. This not their fault, as I could have ask for the fan. They offer a large selection of breakfast buffet. The main buffet area might be a bit loud and noisy, but there are tables to be found in small secluded seating areas scatter around. The large bar area in the lobby is packed every evening we were there, so nice to see.Since we were there for the spa, I care more about the facilities they offer in the spa area. And this was a disappointment 😔There is a mix gender spa area (clothing forbidden), in this area there are 3 different types of sauna and 2 steam rooms. There's tea and water for selv service. In this area there is a tiny salt water dip pool in the garden (open air). In this part of the spa, one can see that is rather new.In another part of the spa, there are indoor and outdoor pool with another infrared sauna. This area is old and not at all that attractive, though it wasn't run down or anything, it's just look obsolete.

Don’t get a room facing the ‘park’ - what you get is a room facing the bus station with diesel driven noisy buses arriving and leaving around the clock. A true stressful experience— quite the opposite of the hotel promise. …

The hotel is centrally located overlooking the promenade. Hearty welcome from the check in desk. Speedy service. Clean, comfortable Seaside room, but no AC. Stayed for two nights. …
