Nice dinner

We received a super nice welcome. We were very excited about the food and were not disappointed. Starter, main course and dessert were excellent, never eaten so well. The cocktail was also excellent, the evening couldn't have been better for us. Lisa is a very friendly and personable host. She takes a lot of time and we had a great conversation with her. Our dog was also warmly welcomed and given treats. We really felt very comfortable and welcome and had a fabulous meal. We'll definitely be back!! 🥰

Lisa's Rumor Kitchen is a small, cozy restaurant on the main street. The menu is small but fine and it changes daily (daily specials). The dishes are more individually created than cooked. In addition, attention is paid to seasonal and high-quality ingredients. You can tell that the boss Lisa does this with heart and passion. However, you have to bring some time with you, as Lisa makes everything fresh herself.Was very tasty!

We went there for dinner for my grandma's birthday. The waitress and cook were super nice and the food was super fresh and good. I'm a very complicated eater but I received great advice and got a really tasty meal with exactly what I like.Thank you!

We recently went to eat locally at Schlemmerblock and thought we would try out a new restaurant in the region.There was parking right next to the restaurant in the hotel's courtyard.We were warmly greeted by Lisa, with our dog. She recommended a summery, non-alcoholic cocktail and responded to our wishes. This was very tasty.We sat on the terrace, which is also in the courtyard, so it is relatively quiet there. Despite the main street.The decor is a bit chaotic but adds to the charm. It all seems a bit like you're at someone's home.Finally the concept of the restaurant was explained to us. Everything is freshly cooked. Particular emphasis is placed on the season and origin of the product. No fattening and many things from our own cultivation. Since everything is prepared freshly by just one person (in our case), you have to take your time, but that's not a bad thing since you're informed about it right from the start.We chose Antipati Special and the Carpaccio as a starter, chicken in balsamic sauce and a Hallisches steak as the main course and rounded this off with a dessert platter. We were able to change the chicken without any problems or additional costs, following Lisa's advice.The entire visit lasted about 3 hours. But a lot of it was because we chatted with Lisa at the end.The food was delicious, not the best thing you've ever eaten, but you can once again notice the heartfelt cooking and the respect for the product. This in combination with the open nature of the owner makes the visit an experience that is similar to a private atmosphere and the food from mom.Very pleasant and something different.All in all, a lovely evening in a small, chaotic restaurant.
