Came through on bicycles, was nice for one night. Spacious tent area, but a bit far from the main area with bathrooms etc. Right on the sea, lovely area. Stop in town for sausage at the small shop. Wonderful.

We came to this camping because we wanted to go to Hiddensee and it seems to be the only place available in Schaprode. The place is pretty huge with its own private beach. Some of the spots are even facing the sea. They have several kinds of buns in the morning which are pretty tasty and their shop is in general pretty well provided with all the basics one may need. Sanitary facilities are fine. Not very big for the size of the camping but anyway we didn't face any queues. The staff could be a little bit more friendly though. And unfortunately there are a lot of mosquitos.

We have been in few campsites here in Rügen, but this seems to be the best. Super friendly host, excellent English, grocery shop inside. We were here one night with bikes and tent, and everything was perfect. One more thing - no mosquitoes!

SHORT DESCRIPTION:Nice camping direct to the beach.Good (fish)restaurant.Clean and sober sanitary facilities.Small shop.LONG DESCRIPTION:A really nice camping site direct to the west facing beach. The camping shop offers the most necessary things to survive - ham, salami, butter, cheese, beers, wines, bread and fresh eggs. The sanitary facilities are really clean and sober. If you're not doing your own camping cooking, then visit the restaurant at the camp site - they offer a supreme variety of fish meals. It is recommended to stay here for a night or two of you plan to visit the island Hiddensee. The only complaint we have is the walking distance to the sanitary facilities from the tent area... A wc building in the north part of the camping site would give the fifth star.Summer 2017, Danes on bicycle tour de Rügen

Nice location, but unfriendly reception staff. Bathrooms don’t have enough capacity and require more frequent cleaning service.

Maybe it was the bad weather, but in my opinion too less toilets for the number of people. Nice location though.

Beautiful landscape and right on the water, it's a cheap alternative to the heavily popular and very expensive island of hiddensee.
