We were given a voucher for a week at the Vieregge holiday park. We scheduled the stay in January for August 2023. When we asked about the arrival modalities, we were told a week before arrival that we would have to transfer the final cleaning fee in advance. This amounted to a good 136 euros!! Regardless of the fact that we have never had to pay so much for final cleaning, unfortunately the holiday home was not really clean when we arrived. In the bathroom there was a used ear swab on the shelf and in the guest toilet there was a toilet paper roll on the holder that must have been soaked in an unidentifiable liquid. We only saw this after we had used the paper 😨 The area seemed a little neglected and there were a lot of cobwebs in the house. The house itself was cozy and the furnishings met our expectations. The bed was freshly made and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed using the oven a lot. The WiFi was also great. The environment is very quiet. There is virtually nothing else in Vieregge. We took all trips by car.We would particularly like to highlight the inn in the neighboring town of Neuenkirchen - excellent cuisine with very friendly staff! Reservation is strongly recommended 😉

Unfortunately, a wonderful vacation comes to an end. We would like to thank you for the great accommodation, we felt very comfortable. Here you can really relax, pure nature and very quiet. Ideal for families with children. We'd love to come back.

Always nice here, I was able to enjoy a beautiful sunset. Everything is well maintained throughout the entire complex. The sauna and relaxation room are always clean and very nicely furnished. The sunset from the Grümbke Tower is priceless. And you also get very friendly animal visitors. I can only recommend Holiday Park Vieregge. Many thanks to the Westphal family.

The holiday park was probably top 4 stars 10-20 years ago. Not a nice beach, just nothing going on. They seem to specialize in visitors with dogs here, so the houses outside and inside are full of dog remains. The houses themselves are very spoiled but ok.The “beach” is good for dogs but not for families, especially with children. But there is a nice, cozy harbor with a pub/snack bar. A boat to Hiddensee also leaves there once a week.

We rented a house in the Vieregge holiday park for a week. The location is very quiet and doesn't have much to offer, we didn't see a beach... It's a 4-minute walk to the water.Unfortunately, the house is very old and nothing has been done in ages. When we arrived it didn't seem really clean, there were a lot of insects in the house that we had to remove first. The rooms are nicely laid out, but the furniture is very old and dilapidated. Unfortunately, some of the fly screens in the house (which are extremely important) are holey and torn. There are a lot of little things that are annoying, for example: There aren't enough cutlery items, we only had a total of 5 knives in a house for 6 people, the vacuum cleaner hardly sucks at all and is rickety and and and...It feels like the last time it was renovated was 25 years ago. The holiday park complex is in the same condition. The outdoor furniture, the playground, trampoline, etc. everything seems more junk than nice. Everything urgently needs to be replaced. The WiFi is also an absolute joke. There is a router that is only reinforced with reapters for 4 households? It is also important to renew urgently that there is a modern, stable internet connection that is higher than a 5000 line (which never arrived). It's a shame, as it is now I would advise you to keep looking for somewhere else to stay. But maybe something will happen and the house will be renovated/refreshed in a contemporary way...

We wanted peace and quiet, some FISHING and a café drink.Unfortunately that's not really possible here.Fishing is forbidden almost everywhere.Unless you rent the boat. The only café far and wide is only open for 4 days and then only by the hour.If you want to go out for something to eat or drink, you have to drive 30 minutes (at least).Large construction site on the federal highway, with a lot of traffic, traffic jams and XL detours.Mosquitoes - of course like everywhere else on Rügen. But top holiday homes, all with fly screens and luxury furnishings. But if you are looking for a clean, tidy holiday resort where you have peace and nature. (But no swimming opportunity or shopping opportunity)This is exactly the right place.Super clean, great starting point for long hikes.Oh yes, the observation tower has been closed for two years. Newly renovated or built but closed. If you want to sit in peace and quiet in your holiday home and enjoy nature, including a great view, this is exactly the right place for you. What else needs to be said, totally dog friendly. Great dog toilets and also 1 trash can are available. It would be brilliant if the dog facilities were filled with poop bags.Price 25.00 per dog!

Small quiet place.2 beach bays, nature. Since many people travel with dogs, the 2 small bays are not enough. There is a small restaurant at the harbor where you can also sit outside. Here you can get bread rolls from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Unfortunately, due to a lack of staff, the restaurant was only open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. The nearest small shop is 2 km away in Neuenkirchen and 20 minutes away in Bergen, various shops. Vieregge is located inland, and it takes about 45 - 50 minutes by car to get to the open sea in all directions

Actually very nice, but nothing has been done to maintain it for a long time. Appears abandoned and weathered. If more effort was made it would be 4 stars. There is also no sandy beach, as advertised, and 90% of the time bicycles are not usable
