Didn't do justice to the information on the website...We give two stars here for the clean, spacious rooms (in DIY style) and the very friendly older lady (80) who really took care of a lot of things and a very nice riding instructor, without whom no riding experience would have been possible. However, there will not be more stars for the following reasons:- The website advertises extensive offerings of riding experiences, riding courses, carriage rides, etc. These are the reasons why we came with our horse-loving daughters in the first place. However, apart from a grumpy “stable master” (who the children were afraid of), there was no person in charge on site. When we asked how we could take part in one of the many riding courses, we only received the answer that there was a course on Friday afternoon. Information that our daughters (and another guest child) would like to take part in this course was not passed on to the riding instructor (who is not from the town), so she found herself completely unprepared to face additional participants. Our children were only able to ride once because two other girls voluntarily gave up their course.- We had no idea how we could have taken advantage of other offers (e.g. a carriage ride). In our opinion, “offer” also comes from “offer”. However, since there was no one to talk to other than the workers who were shy about talking, it was not possible to use them.- The farm did not look like an inviting or well-kept and animal-friendly farm. Professional riders or experts may judge this differently, but as a resident of South Oldenburg (also a well-known horse region), I know well-kept and lovingly run horse farms and stud farms.- that on the day of arrival the cleaning of the holiday apartment was not finished on time and we were sent back to the town until the cleaning was finished, but we were not told about this afterwards, which is why we waited another half hour in front of the already cleaned apartment only be mentioned in passing. Just like the failed hot water supply the following day. This was repaired by 10:30 a.m., but we also ran behind the information here. The bottom line is that a farmstead is not recommended and is apparently only used to attract horse lovers and then trust that their demands will somehow be satisfied. No trace of planning or guest orientation. It's a shame, because the farm has a lot of potential and, judging by reports from locals, it once had.
