Two words to describe this hostel:Horrible & filthyDo not book a room there! You really don‘t want to sleep there. We booked the hostel a few hours before arriving and it was kind of easy to get the keys. When we arrived a polite person gave us the key and that was where all the positive experiences ended. When we arrived later that day we found out that the whole floor of the hostel has not been cleaned in a long time because there were stains and ist was so sticky that you could hear your shoes separating from the floor. The beds have been freshly made but there were hair and dust on the sheets. As you van see on the pictures, there were stains everything. (Floors, beds, doors, walls,…)The worst were the toilets which were in the same room as the showers. They looked like they have not been cleaned in weeks! The toilets were covered in stains or even spilling over with urine which I guess created the strong smell of ammonia. The showers had stains of mold and the smell was horrible. We wanted to cancel our second night but obviously they seemed to be prepared to this situation because in case of a cancellation you still have to pay the total amount. We left the hostel after the first night(we had to stay there because we had no other place) and preferred to book an even cheaper hostel which was clean and with way better inventory. What we learned is, that you need to double check the hostels and can‘t trust the references on booking but check the references on google.

David is absolutely awesome, and managed to help us save over $35 on our trip to Abu Simbel, when we didn't even stay at his hostel! Instead of going with a tour guide, a quick call with David led us to go and catch a local bus there and back, for the price of $13.60 (for both of us!!) instead of $50!! Not only that, but the bus arrived later than the tour buses, so by the time we got there it was empty, and we got it for twice as long than the tourists paying $50! Thank you, David!!!

A hostel where ordinary workers live. The toilet and shower are shared on the first floor. There is also a kitchen. But it is better to have your own kitchen utensils. Free and unlimited Wi-Fi. The rooms are clean, although the furniture, as they say, was already in use. Very clean linen. There is a reception, but no one is there. To check in, you need to call the phone number that is written. I asked the guy who moved me inconfirmation of payment, promised, but never waited. Another advantage is that Lidl and Aldi are a five-minute walk away.

We were happy to have found a room quickly. Unfortunately the hotel turned out to be a hostel. OK. Then just like that. For €70 in cash to be thrown into a key safe, I was hoping for a little more. It was so loud outside the hostel that I couldn't understand the landlord and had to go inside. He promised it would be quiet after 10pm, which wasn't the case. There was screaming for half the night. People were constantly insulted. There was noise in the room. The hallway smelled of fire, something must have burned. There was a burnt pan at the door towards the back. There were butts and empty liquor bottles everywhere. There was smoking everywhere in the house. I didn't dare go to the toilet alone. It wasn't possible to shower because it was very dirty and the door couldn't be locked. All in all, the house, the toilet and shower, the hallways and our room are very dirty. There was a television in the room, the cable was too short to be plugged into the existing socket. The refrigerator in the room had a cord, no plug on it. So useless. The beds seemed clean. The closet was completely dirty and the mirror was broken. We will contact the local authorities and demand our money. Here, hygiene has to check whether this is even permissible. Women should not enter the house alone. Unfortunately my photos were rejected

We needed accommodation at very short notice and late at night (11:30 p.m.). That was possible with David. Thank you for that!We had a six-bed room to ourselves. The room was clean. The beds are great. The bathroom diagonally across the hallway was okay. The entrance area also has potential. But we are very grateful to David that we got a room at such short notice.

It's just a hostel. The location is good, but that's about it. The cleanliness in all areas leaves a lot to be desired. If you just need a roof over your head to sleep, the accommodation is sufficient.

My condolences to the people staying in this place. The photos do not reflect the real impression of this place - it is even worse.

If you're hardy and only need a bed and shower and eat somewhere else, you'll find a reasonably moderate choice here. Those of a delicate nature, on the other hand, should stay miles away from this mechanic's accommodation.

Absolutely not recommended! Statements on the homepage are outright lies. No curtains, just a bedside table and no bedside lamps for three beds. Shared bathrooms (one per floor) were a disaster, everything was dirty and extremely unhygienic. In the 5 days we were there, we didn't even see a cleaner (cut fingernails and broken pieces of plastic were in the same place in the bathroom on the first and last day). Some of the floors are broken with an acute risk of injury in the hallways. Everywhere there was a smell of cold cigarette smoke coming from outside because people smoke right in front of the front door. The outside doors are not locked at night and since the reception is not staffed at night, everyone can come and go as they please (acute risk of theft!).
