We visited the restaurant because of the good reviews and couldn't quite understand the opinion. We had schnitzel dishes for 19 euros, which we thought was convenience food. As well as fries and a bit of salad, which was super fresh. Service was really nice, but not accepting card payments in a restaurant with a hotel these days is very unusual. There are many better alternatives

Good afternoon dear readers,My family and I had dinner at Restorante Kurtz yesterday (10/19/24).The reception was mediocre. We were told where the table was but no one took us there.The menus were not in a very nice condition and the presentation was also from 1990, the dining room also adapted accordingly.to the orders:We ordered 3x rump steak, 1x salmon with tagliatelle, 1x salad with chicken breast and 1x champion cream schnitzelI'll be honest, I was very disappointed, disappointed that neither the weight of my rump steak, which cost 30 euros, was on the menu nor was I asked what dressing I wanted for the salad, which wasn't on the menu either.I think it's cheeky to charge 30 euros for an estimated 150 grams of rump steak with Barolojuè and a handful of fries.The service was mediocre attentive at the beginning and where the salad had been complained about, it was hardly visible until new guests came in.But what was absolutely not okay was where the waiter cleared away when someone was still eating!However, it was positive that it tasted good and there were large drinks that exceeded 0.3L.All in all, it's a shame. It has potential when it comes to the food, but the rest leaves a lot to be desired. It's out of the question to come back!I can't say anything about the hotel because we come from Völklingen and didn't take advantage of this offer.

Steak Day! €20.50 Was there for the first time on Thursday! A very good piece of meat! Exactly to the point 👍🏼! Delicious ! Fries also very good! Salad top! Dressing good! Nothing to complain about! Always happy again!

Visit to the restaurant with 12 people, the staff are very friendly and attentive, the food was freshly prepared, very tasty and beautifully presented. My intolerance was addressed very well.The price is a bit more expensive but appropriate for the quality of the dishes and comparable to other restaurants.The restaurant looks a bit unassuming from the outside, but inside it is beautifully designed and everything is clean and tidy.
