This was an unexpected treat on our European trip. This lovely hotel is run by some very warm people. Our room was a triple and it was spacious and warm. They are located close enough to a main tourist area while still giving you the beautiful country vibe. The breakfast provided was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Pictures will not do it justice. Although the listing states no air conditioning and that may seem off-putting, don't be alarmed, its standard for the area and we were very cool in the room. We had a wonderful stay!

The staff was attentive. They spoke English because I knew no French or German. However, please, and thanks in the native language goes a long way. Breakfast was complementary. They take part in Hotel Points system (my wife did the bookings). There's a fruit and veggies stand on the property, and they are busy. Did I mention breakfast was amazing and ample. They are right on the border with Luxembourg just, cross the bridge. We had the most amazing pizza, pasta, and a lesson in cheese while we were there. But that's another adventure. Please visit this place they made me feel at home. For a person of colour and not from the region, they made this jamaican man feel welcome... Walk with your €, we didn't find anywhere that took credit cards. They have a bank over the Luxembourg side. We withdrew cash from there.

Based on the reviews decided to book a room in this hotel. The nearby village Remich does not offer any service at all from hotel and restaurant perspective. A lot of other places are also terrible or even closed, so good hope for Zur Traube. The restaurant and staff there is really good. We had dinner for both days we stayed there and we enjoyed the food and the service a lot!!!There are two types of rooms: comfort rooms which are in the old building in front of the road and they are noisy and are almost situated in the breakfast-room so from 7 AM onwards you can not sleep anymore. The door which separates the 2 sections is opened every moment by the staff even it was arranged with the manager not to do so!!! Really annoying for the customers, and really bad relationship between manager and staff. The 3-star hotel has really small soap and shampoo-'flacons' in the bathrooms, the shower is not closing so the whole floor is wet.As this hotel is next 2 very busy roads there is a lot of traffic noice as well. Room-number 4 is located at the back of the hotel so a bit better from that perspective but the window there gives only view on walls and blinded room so no view at all.The other type of rooms are premium which are situated in new section of the hotel. Those look much better and are far more comfortable from noise perspective. Both type of rooms are overpriced at least 10% to 15% for what is offered in a 3-star hotel.I wish the management good luck to keep these doors open as the rest of Remich is already closed. We will happily skip this area and look for other places the next time!!!

While the rooms look nice and appear clean (could be cleaner though) the service is close to unascertainable. The lady who was in charge of breakfast service and check out was so unfriendly that we’d recommend another profession. …

Stayed many times in both, standard and comfort rooms - check-in procedure is run by the restaurant staff (sometimes takes some time).|Rooms spaceous and very clean - fully renewed interior and bathrooms/showers. …

We were looking for a place to eat for a couple with two kids. Decided to try the Zur Traube Restaurant. Pleasantly surprised by the welcoming staff and well laid out table. Menu was typical regional fare. …

Can't comment on the hotel, as we were only in the restaurant. But the restaurant was quite cozy with tasty food and good service. Can definitely recommend!

Great service, creative menu and definitely more on the fancy side but so worth it if you're looking to treat yourself. Owner even checks on every table to make sure things are OK. Quality of food was on point!

The hotel is very clean. The staff are friendly. The breakfast is very good. Choices of different juices, squeezed orange juice, choices of cheeses, honey, coffee, tea, fruit and fruit salad. Free WiFi and free parking. The reason I haven’t rated it with 5 stars because there is no air conditioning. The price is reasonable and cheaper than Luxemburg while it is less than 2 KM from Luxemburg.

Stayed in a standard single and a "Komfort" double with family. The rooms are newly renovated and tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. The street noise in the standard single room was far too much for comfort, however. From around 5:30 am there is heavy traffic (mostly HGVs) on the road which is directly in front of the room, in addition to the busy intersection with the main road connecting with Luxemburg a mere 50 meters away. My family slept better in their Komfort room on the back patio (hence the name, I imagine). Breakfast was fine as was the service. We were pleasantly surprised with the on-site restaurant for our evening meals and the service at the restaurant was always friendly. In retrospect, I would have probably made sense to book the half-pension. There was never anyone at the reception during our time there, so we had to wait till the chamberpesonnel were around to ask anything. I'd stay here again, but definitely not in the standard room.
