I was lucky enough to visit this delightful place when I came to see friends in Ockfen. We had a light meal and some delicious wines - I brought some home with me so I can share with my friends (but I might not! 😄) - food and drinks were fantastic. The staff are lovely. Hoping to go over and stay next time, maybe for the Christmas markets. It was still warm enough to sit on the terrace and was lovely to listen to the peaceful sounds of the stream and birdsong.Don't miss the herb garden, too.

We really enjoyed staying in this hotel .Our room was very large, clean and quiet. The dinner was very good and the breakfast fantastic. This hotel is located very near the cycling path and has a parking area and a garage for the bikes. However we were disappointed by the hotel surroundings : the lawn at the back and the garden are not well kept at all. No one feels like relaxing on an old shabby bench in a garden full of weeds ! Some gardening and a few more flowers would be appreciated.

Nice and modern hotel that manages to keep a traditional atmosphere. Flexible and accommodating staff that makes you feel welcome. The owner searched the wine cellar to find a special bottle of old Riesling for our group. Much appreciated!

The hotel has recently been updated so has a lovely bathroom and fittings. This made it surprising that there were no fridge in the room although there was a fridge provided for guest use in the hallway. …

The river walk to Saarburg was suggested by our host. Delightful! Our room was lovely with comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet was extravagant, delicious, and beautiful. Our group of three women friends give the highest recommendation.

Lovely location just set back from the Saar... Hotel bikes allowed us to explore the river and Saarburg. Half-pension worked well and food was very good, along with the hotel's own wines.

Great hotel with friendly staff. The rooms (or at least mine) have been refurbished and are up to modern standards. The bathroom was very modern and clean, which always makes me happy.Unfortunately I booked a Tuesday night and the restaurant was closed (should have checked this beforehand) but I will return to check out the dinner!A 40 minute walk to Saarburg along the water, and several hiking trails are available nearby through the vineyards.
