price 130k..the place is comfortable...rooms are okay...tv, air conditioning are okay...the guards are friendly...in the morning you can get bread...cleanliness could possibly be improved...only there are no signboards for the location...

Good things first: the location is good. It's just a 10 minute walk from the Surabaya zoo and from the nearest bus stop. It's right next to a minimarket, close to hospitals and not too far from the city center. It has a kitchen that's available for everyone. Quite clean room.But, the place isn't easy to spot. No clear sign anywhere. Turns out it is right next to a dentist clinic.Note that this place doesn't really provide regular room type like "twin bed", but more of various bed types. My room consists of one bunk bed, even though I clicked on a twin bed type on the Traveloka app. Also the staff are not always available. Lucky for me, when I checked in, there was someone around. But if not, you can text the number they provided.As a very affordable lodging in a good location like this, of course they have to reduce lots of things. They don't provide complimentary water bottles, no towels, no toiletries and there's only a shared toilet.What's bothering me so much is that my room is very humid. If I stayed more than two nights, I believe all my clothes will get muggy. So at night it's just too cold because of the damp temperature, but at noon it's just too hot because the air conditioning isn't working. I didn't try to turn on the TV, because the wires are hanging weirdly.

Comfortable guesthouse. The location is on the side of the road and the service is really good. The receptionist is friendly. The room facilities (double room) for that price are very satisfying (there is AC, TV, shared kitchen, shared living room and outside bathroom). There is a water fountain here (in the garden next to the house) so the atmosphere is very homey. The receptionist is not always at the desk, so if you need to, you can press the bell provided at the desk. There are also motorbike rental, laundry and drink ordering services here. Next to this guesthouse there is an Alfamart so if you need something it's easy.
