We spent a long weekend here.The rooms are very clean and we were able to sleep well. Our room faced the street, opposite the local church. But you quickly got used to the ringing.We were traveling a lot so only managed to have dinner at the inn once, but it was very good :)The breakfast was sufficient and the coffee was good.Price/performance - great

Although everything was pre-ordered due to the start of school, we received a warm welcome. The food is highly recommended. The restaurant right next to the church also has a small beer garden that is well shielded from the street. We felt comfortable. Price performance also fits.

We started the new year in the “Sonne” together with other guests.There were 3 delicious menus to choose from and at the turn of the year there was also a glass of sparkling wine and a goulash soup. Hello, a thank you to our hosts. We were a small group that felt very comfortable. They are nice and clean rooms. For breakfast there was everything your heart could desire. We actually wanted to go out to eat in Saalburg on the second evening. But we decided on the great and tasty selection in the Golden Sun.We were very satisfied and wish only the best for the inn.LG from Gotha

We visited this inn many years ago and it was good.Now it can be classified as very good and very qualified.The overnight stay with breakfast was very inexpensive, the rooms were functional and clean.The staff and the food are very good and highly recommended.The staff is very nice and professional, but unfortunately you rarely experience this fact in such small houses.We had a very good impression and can highly recommend this house.

We happened to eat there because we couldn't get a seat where we actually wanted to go. In retrospect we were happy because the food was really delicious. Thuringian cuisine and everything freshly prepared. I can only recommend it - the price is also right!!!

Excellent food in a relaxed atmosphere. The service is super nice, fast and attentive. Whether for lunch or dinner, you've come to the right place here. Also ideal for larger groups or family celebrations. Overnight stays are also possible. An absolute recommendation for visitors to the Bleiloch reservoir or the Slate Mountains.
