Booked this place back in November 2023 to stay here in July, 2024. They cancelled and tried to move us to a less expensive hotel without offering a potential refund of the difference. No reason given for not honouring the booking. 10 days before departure. Awful way to treat potential guests. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS

They have made some upgrades!Breakfast/coffee- The breakfast options were fantastic and suitable for various dietary restrictions. The coffee machine is newer and offers a variety of tasty mixes. The lady who runs the breakfast area keeps the place in to shape.Parking - the garage was very difficult to find. I recommend calling the hotel well before arrival to get the address of the garage. It’s 20EU/Day which I found to be on par with local garages. The room- it was small but tidy. The carpet and tile were dated but clean. They use refillable shampoo and hand washes, which I appreciate. The bedding was warm and we were provided with extra pillows upon request. The bed was two twins pushed together, which I don’t love but is very common in the area.Service- I was really surprised at the language proficiency of the lady who checked us in. We did not receive any of the negative treatment represented in other reviews, so perhaps there has been a staff turnover.Overall- this hotel is meant to provide lower cost lodging in a central part of the city. I think they met the mark for that goal and are clearly investing in upgrades to the property over time.

Rooms were dated, carpets were dirty and worn, matresses and pillows were extremerly old and multi used. Even though we had paid for a comfort room, they gave us a standard one at first and we asked to change. …

The one of the 2 buildings was good, but the other one is not for human beings! The room was stinking! You couldn't stand from the smell. I had to sleep with my family there for one night because they had no other free room for that night. The mirror was broken and covered with a tape. The water was changing from hot to cold every a few seconds by itself. The balcony of our room had more than 10-20 different cigarettes thrown in the pots (no flowers of course)! The safe was not working too, but this was the least of the problems. They even gave us rooms without closets! When my sisters arrived, they had to change 3 rooms in order to found one that was not so bad. And we were paying about 300€ per night for these filthy rooms! Of course we paid extra for the breakfast. It was till 10:30 but everyday they were running out of something at 7:30 in the morning. Two days without coffee(!), two days without honey, sausages, croissants... Everyday something was running out... It was a very bad experience! I was hosting my partners, my family and 4 clients for the R+T messe and I was so embarrassed...

+Location is good and €20 parking per day directly at the hotel.-Major sound disturbance during the night (and we were sleeping on the back side of the hotel and not even on the boulevard in front), we were up all night. Also we wanted to work in the hotel but there is not lobby or something and they wouldn’t open the breakfast area for us, so we were forced to sit in our 8 sq meter room or some supply room without daylight. Also they changed the breakfast price upon payment at checkout..Also bathroom is super super small (can’t be in there with more than 1 person) and super old. Beds are ok, pillows are horrible.

Solid, reasonably priced place in downtown Stuttgart with great access by foot to the main pedestrian shopping area. Yes, rooms are kind of old-fashioned, still clean in my case. If you look for something simple for a good price go for it. Service all very friendly.

Stuttgart, Germany. Hotel is very outdated. A major renovation is needed. The first room I stated did not have a good WiFi signal. A receptionist Mohamed was super helpful and reassigned another room which was fantastic! Thank you Mohamed!Location is great. If you can get a price under €60 euros per night if is a good stay.Stayed for (2) nights January 11-13, 2024, room 215Great walk from the main train station.

Booked for 5 nights, refused the first room, second wasn’t much better. This hotel is spread across at least two blocks bridged by an interlink. The rooms are old, tired, with very small bath tubs.  …

Don't bother booking there. Rooms are overpriced. There were loads of hair under the mattress cover, it was disgusting. The room was spacious but it looks like it hadn't been refurbished since the 1980s. Staff were neither welcoming nor bad. I wish I had paid more for a better place. It was noisy on the weekend too. On the plus side, it's very central.

My stay was excellent, I had a clean and cozy room, the heating in this cold season was working perfectly, the breakfast was very adequate for the price, the eggs were better than in some more posh hotels where they only use egg powder, the staff was extremely helpful! Of course, with a central location on the weekend there will be some noise outside at night - it is a lively area after all, I quite enjoyed that. I would book this hotel again any time. Ingrid
