Nice staff and great views of the lake. Good for an overnight stay but you should make a reservation. Price/performance is okay considering how much everything costs.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place. The showers were dirty and there were small flies everywhere, even on the toilets. The staff was very unfriendly and unhelpful. The treasure hunt for €10 per person is absolutely overpriced for what is on offer. It was disappointing that we had to remove our own beds and no breakfast was offered, which absolutely does not justify the high price. The huts were cramped, but at least relatively nice.A big drawback was that there were far too few places to sit, so we were forced to go to the beach opposite. The entire property seemed rather shabby and unkempt. All in all, it was very poor value for money. We definitely won't be coming back.

Simple but nice place. Sanitary facilities were simple but clean. Very friendly staff. We paid 36 euros per night for two people and living room

We went there as a school trip. The houses are clean and simply and functionally furnished. There are communal showers and toilets. Everything is clean and the team is very accommodating. The service in both restaurants is sometimes not friendly. However, the nautical water sports school is highly recommended. We had a lovely time.

There were two of us in half a hut, it was cramped, but it was okay and it was clean too. |Very nice to look at from the outside, but particularly narrow and unattractive from the inside. …

We used the MFC Erfurter Seen to take a short vacation in the floating huts. A beautiful piece of earth. The ladies at reception were extremely friendly and helpful. The huts are cute and nice. But very sparsely furnished. Since we knew this from previous recessions, we took what we still needed with us. For example, a kettle, etc. In the evening we rented a rowing boat. Then we went to Lake Alpenstedter and we were able to enjoy a beautiful sunset. Later we went to the Treff am See restaurant to have dinner. So everything is perfect.

We stayed at camp for 4 nights on the few sunny days this summer. The lakeside cabins have a fantastic atmosphere. The lake is fantastic and is used by all sorts of quiet water sports enthusiasts (without a combustion engine) :-)SUP, pedal boating, sailing, paddling, rowing, swimming, fishing...everything is possible!Unfortunately not everything can be seen from the huts' jetty. That is actually my biggest point of criticism. The website suggested to me that you could swim, paddle, etc. from the jetty of the huts. I thought there was at least a beach within walking distance where you could swim. Unfortunately that doesn't exist. The huts are located in a kind of harbor area where there are several sports clubs, each of which owns parts of the jetty that are not allowed to be used by the "residents" of the huts. The beaches on the lake belong to the Blue Beach Club (entrance if accessed from land, not from the water) or to the campsite on the opposite shore (approx. 20 minutes on foot). I found that very unfortunate.Good to know for future vacationers:- There is no bathing ladder at the jetty.- There is no longer any headroom in the water at the huts (not for non-swimmers among the little climbers).- The huts are very little isolated and you can hear and feel (the huts float and are connected to each other via the footbridge ;-) ) the neighbors very clearly and until late in the morning...- Bathing shoes are a worthwhile investment (splinters from the wooden pier, gravel bottom in the lake, shells on large stones in the area where you should launch your SUP)- You should take mosquito screens for the door with you. The huts are illuminated at night by the water. That looks incredibly beautiful!!!...but it brings all sorts of creatures onto the scene. The small window in the hut is protected but the door is not.- in summer it can get extremely hot in the huts - we slept with the door open all night (mosquito screens!!)- The huts are very small (but nice) - so don't take too much luggage with you, otherwise you'll quickly find yourself unable to move ;-)- The toilets/washing facilities are quite a distance away - unfortunately this is inconvenient, especially at night- The beds were great, I slept great (at least before the party animals arrived at the weekend)
