Disappointing. Looks beautiful from the outside, but charmless and plastiky indoors. Not unfriendly but reception totally not interested or able to help me with a room change. While the hotel felt empty! Why give a late arrival the worst room. ||Look elsewhere!

Perfectly fine typical German provincial Hotel. The location right at the station is great, the Hotel is set in a nice building and while some elements of the Hotel are clearly rather dated, it is all very well cared for. Service was quick and polite so, combined with the good pricing this hotel is a perfect choice for a quick stay in Weimar.

I felt warmly welcomed. Very convenient location (right opposite to the main train station) and so easy to find after arriving. Friendly staff. Inside there is a neat restaurant so you can have meals whenever you want. The room was tidy and well-organized. Recommended !

I spent a night here on a business trip. The staff was very friendly and super welcoming. Tue room was small but clean and nicely furnished. Unfortunately, my room was facing out front towards the street and the train station which was a little noisy starting at around 6:30-7am. I would recommend this Hotel though and also stay here again but I'd see that I can get a room in the back :)

The hotel building looks really impressive from the outside and lobby-restaurant area looks lovely on the inside!People at the front desk and in the restaurant were very friendly even the chef was smiling when he came out of the kitchen during breakfast. :-)The breakfast was super nice, they could improve their coffee though. The room itself was good for 2 nights but it's tiny, as well as the bathroom, it feels like you are in the warderobe.

I’d give this hotel 3-3.5 stars. My room was small, but it was arranged in a way that utilized the 10-square-meter space quite efficiently, so it didn’t feel claustrophobic. The shower was small but had a nice shower head with 3 different modes. The bed was ok but the pillow was awful - I got a really nasty headache since my neck was all twisted up. Also, I was staying on the 3rd floor and the WiFi signal was horrible, so I just had to use my phone data. The restaurant was completely empty in the afternoon with only 2-3 dishes available, so I didn’t get to dine there. The TV was huge in proportion to the room dimensions, so I enjoyed watching a football game. The location is convenient if you’re planning a short stay - it’s directly opposite the Weimar main station.

Well located across from the train station but a good 15 minutes walk to downtown Weimar. Hotel is clean and reasonably priced though not cheap. Rooms are fairly small. Major issue is with the elevator (there is only one) and the long wait, especially in the morning. Also bring your own soap and shampoo as none is provided.

Really nice old style Hotel right infront of the Weimar Train Station. Most of the major tourist locations and city center are closeby. The also give you a map of the city when you check in. The reception was very welcoming, helpful, and friendly. The breakfast was great. And last but not the least, with all these mentioned things, the price was also suitable.

Good room, nice breakfast. The wifi access system is bad... it did not work for me after wasting 20 minutes of my time. Should keep the access simple as in other hotels we stayed in Germany.I'd have marked the experience 4 star for the wifi annoyance but have added a special star for 2 girls who work in the hotel...Annette at the reception was helpful with map and directions. Also the girl in the breakfast room on the 2 days we stayed was sweet and smiling ... remembered our order of hot chocolate and the table we had sat at the previous day. Remarkable considering the crowd. These 2 girls are praiseworthy

A really comfortable hotel in a superb location. Right across the square from the train station and then only an easy 20/25 minute stroll from the downtown attractions such as Goethe's house and the Schloss. Staff were very welcoming, room was clean and well furnished. The floor where we were staying was dedicated to the artist Lyonel Feininger so very nice prints of his decorated the halls and the bedrooms. We did not have breakfast in the hotel as I had early meetings during our stay, but the evening meals were good value for money. My only petty nag was the lack of an English language news station on the TV.
