Great weekend out of Berlin for families with kids, friends, or nature lovers. Good for swimming in the lake or taking a boat ride

The location is perfect...if you don't want to have a cell phone network or internet. The nature, the peace and the fantastic building bring a stressed city dweller down very quickly. Excellent. The service was excellent. The food was delicious, plentiful and healthy. I'm already looking forward to the next time.

We had a family celebration there and everything was great. I've never seen the buffet like there. Whole salmon, turkey and beef tenderloin. Very tasty and something to behold.The ambience of the house has been preserved with a lot of love. Each hotel room is unique and designed with a lot of love. I had a room where I was missing a small lamp on the bed, but that's complaining at a high level.I can totally recommend this house if you want to have some real peace and quiet.

We were there as guests for the wedding. Wedding was great. Dinner was also very good. However, the external apartments and bungalows are really just horrible.We stayed in the apartment. When you enter, you are greeted by the fine perfume of the musty old building. When you lie down in your Ikea bed, exhausted from a long journey, you no longer feel alone because you can feel every single slat of the slatted frame in your back. As an inclusion approach, you can also get up close and personal with the broken bed slats, which have been lovingly repaired with packing tape and duct tape. If you have to go to the toilet at night you get a free pedicure from the cracks in the poorly laid floor of the parcel so that one or two layers of calluses are removed and at the same time a medical bloodletting is carried out. While you relieve yourself, you have the opportunity to look through a window clouded with splashes of water, look at the toothpaste leftovers from your predecessors on the sink, practice your arithmetic skills by counting dead insects and live spiders or simply wave to your roommates in the hallway because of the bathroom door has a huge "milk" glass window where you can see everything. In the morning, after getting up, you can get a free peeling with the extra portion of dirt on the carpet. The best way to do this is to sit on the sofa. There are still one or two blood stains from the previous inhabitants to be discovered here and some mysterious surprise stains.Then you can say hello to Hugo. Hugo is a really cool sock and the biggest garden spider I've ever seen.To recover after an exciting night and the diverse wellness offerings, there is a breakfast buffet. In order to promote the ascetic streak in one, the cold cuts were not filled up so that one only had to choose between two types of cheese and chicken breast. There was actually jam and muesli and soft-boiled eggs. In order to promote cognitive performance and further develop one's arithmetic skills, there is still the possibility of counting the people who are disappointed and go to the coffee pot and find that it is empty. So a secure command of the big one is helpful here.If you talk about the problems in a really friendly way and ask to remedy the hygiene deficiencies, people try to downplay them in the most unfriendly way. Only when we took out pictures and presented the finely stained pattern on the "fresh" towels did one lady say she would take care of it.6 hours later everything looked exactly the same. Apparently the towels for our roommates were exchanged. Definitely not the towels in the kitchen. When you commented again and said that you wanted to leave early and that you were actually expecting someone to be helpful, there was no cooperative behavior at all. It was always pointed out that the "management" wasn't there and you weren't allowed to make decisions. Another highlight of the justifications was that "it's about the event and not about feeling good. Just don't be in a bad mood because of it (wink smiley). Besides, it's not a vacation but a wedding." The accommodations don't seem to matter.Otherwise the lake was still beautiful. I like water.

Unfortunately, the leading ladies at Villa Tornow do not know how to benevolent and polite on an equal level with their (future) guests, which means that this place has become a no-go for my celebration, a vacation or even as a future employer.It's a shame, because the location and the house are simply enchanting. The nature all around is a dream, the lake is peaceful, almost magical. The Märkische Schweiz nature reserve deserves a full 5 stars in every season.

The path was difficult and not really well signposted. We were looking forward to a coffee or a snack, but we didn't find anyone except the closed company sign. Neither does society. The snack bar was closed so all we could do was look around. The description of morbid charm is pretty accurate. The location by the lake is really nice.
