Basic for tents as the ground is not flat, lots of tree debris fallen onto ground which is mostly sand. So you need to clean up your pitch area. Bar & restaurant on site. The place is in the middle of nowhere so private transport easier to get around.

Lovely campsite in a super convenient location. It took us less than an hour to drive there from our home in Berlin, and our friends came by bike after travelling by S-Bahn to Grünau. I also saw a bus stop very close to the campsite entrance. Great place if you want a quick weekend camping trip without going miles out of the city. The pitches are set in a lovely pine forest and there is lots of space. Another plus is the beautiful playground for the kids, as well as the little bakery/kiosk and the decent sanitary block. Showers were a little lukewarm and the water pressure was a bit too hard but all in all ok for camping. The lady at reception was super friendly and helpful. You pay for hot water at the shower but it's only 20 cents per minute so reasonable enough. There is also a small beach on Krossinsee right next to the campsite where you can hire boats. We had a great time spending a night here.

Disappointing. The restaurant staff are unaware or don't care that people are trying to sleep, playing their personal music loudly at the back of the building next to the tent pitches until late at night. The delivery driver at 06:30 also didn't show any consideration to anyone sleeping. The campsite, due to other campers is generally noisy as everyone plays music or talk loudly until late at night. The tent pitch area isn't great, the showers have too high a pressure. The two redeeming features are the quality of the food in the restaurant - very tasty soup and mango mousse, plus the lake which is pleasant to swim in.Also, special mention to the member of staff in the bakery who was full of energy and kindness. The poppy seed cake was excellent and will surely keep us going until lunchtime.

Typical forest camping, the only problem was the 'card'to use the showers, the receptionist couldn't explain how to use them plus there wasn't any disabled facilities. We would have needed 2 cards because my partner is partial sighted &I &I couldn't take her to her shower block.

Unique campsite. We stayed in one of the house things, however we turn up late (only got to have a quick drink & snacks in the club house) and had to leave early so did not see much of the campsite. Inside the campsite is not very well sign posted so a lot of our big group struggled to find were they was meant to stay. The house thing was very basic, I don't know if it was an ex-army base or something. It was quite cold in the rooms and the decor needs updating. It was a peaceful campsite. The location was pretty good.

Great place! Near the lake⛵️well organized, clean showers, hot water, amazing stuff 👍Our first camping site in Germany;) (July 2016). We stayed their for two days, and really enjoined it. Nice and quiet, awesome walking paths in the woods near by, great restaurant with reasonable prices 👏45 min drive from Berlin. Great for kids with a small play ground. Most of the locals don't speak English, but you can manage 👌 Have fun and respect the locals , collect your trash and try to recycle what you can ;) we have just one Mother Nature...

My second visit here, seems very popular. Great for kids and boating. Very friendly and funny staff, but practice your German or you will struggle. Facilities are excellent, no problems. The restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. Close enough to the city but nice to be by forests and lakes very nice area to explore.
