Beware of the positive reviews!! What the hell is this place????? I was literally counting the days till I go back home. I have never been in a more disgusting place!1- Sooooooooooooo dirty and looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months and was full of insects, especially BIG spiders!!2- Everything looked worn out!3- Smellef awfull !!4- Not sound-proofed even though it was advertised as such! I literally heard the other guests as if I were in the room with them!!5- In the middle of nowhere! Literally no more busses after 9pm, no other options either, except Taxis/Ubers; and no drugstores nor supermarkets nearby.6- The staff was super unprofessional, disinterested and rude.7- No elevators. Good luck carrying your luggage.8- I didn't feel safe at all there.9- The AUDACITY to charge 100€ per night!!10- It's a cobblestone road to get to the hotel. It is not at all good idea for dragging suitcases. It was pure torture. And now I need to buy a new suitcase!I ask where are German regulations?? So much for their efficiency and strict rules! Apparently people can rent you whatever in Germany and no one forces them to provide clean, safe and comfortable rental facilities, not even a reasonable quality/price ratio!DO NOT BOOK A ROOM HERE!

The young man behind the desk Sunday 14th April seemed unhappy to be disturbed by customers in what essentially was an empty hotel. Surly, aloof and mildly unpleasant the next morning. The female manager and other female staff were diamonds though and saved the trip with good energy and helpfulness. They were apologetic that we stayed in very basic rooms in a prefab that runs alongside what is a grand hotel —-a place we only ate in or saw from out of our window. I paid for a double bed but we got two twins pushed together which wasn’t that romantic but for one night i can forgive it as the lakeside settings are beautiful. Herons, geese and all that kind of stuff.

I had a "Deluxe Room" which has absolutely nothing to do with the term deluxe at all!The pictures on the internet site were stunning and beautiful but the place I found was a mess.If this was deluxe, what would a standard room look like?!In my opinion the room was pretty old and ugly! It had no A/C and no vents at all. It was stinky and the minibar was pretty filthy. The bed was clean but very uncomfortable.Absolutely not worth the money! I will never come back.As a very frequent worldwide traveler myself this was by far the worst place I have seen within my last couple years of traveling.

We went to this hotel for a research retreat and it was fun. The rooms are clean and the view is absolutely magnificent. Food was good as well and the breakfast on the boat was also a good experience. Above all, the staff were really helpful in arranging things we wanted.Very good experience.

Don’t judge by the web site. Manor house looks lovely but the only time you get to go in is when checking in. The restaurant is closed ( not as advertised ) all they offer is a pizza. …

The rooms are located in another “container” like building. The rooms are smaller than 18sqm , the rooms are dirty, had a bad smell and does not keep the standard of a 100€/night hotel. The receptionist was not willing to give any other compensation than two mornings free breakfast. The hotel manager was sitting next by saying she did not want to be involved by the situation.

At the moment still being renovated, but an oasis. A wonderfull spot next to the water. We arrived by boat for lunch. A small menu, but very good and for a good price. The waiter, who has just returned from living in Brasil, was very friendly, helpfull and has a good vibe!
