This hotel is located 2 steps away from the most unsafe area I've ever visited. People in the street using drugs, when I say people I mean groups of homeless people on the corner that travel in packs. The room was dated, old furniture, the fridge didn't have a plug & the window was broken. On the last day I discovered the hotel is split in to 2. The rooms 1-100 are dated but rooms 100+ have been updated & are well maintained. The breakfast room is tiny, serving sausages, scrambled eggs, salad, pastries & yogurt.

My experience was bad. The service and workers were very nice but forgot to clean our room. Our room had bugs in our bathroom and there were no wifi until the last day. There were stains on our bed and my sister vomited for no reason. Maybe the food even though it was pretty good. The location sicked and was full of homeless people. Maybe don't come! Two stars.

The room was not as pictured and was not very well kept. There is a handprint in the dust on the wall, a large brown stain in the carpet by the far side of the bed, cobwebs in the corner, stains and smears on multiple walls, the light at the entry area didn't work, the hall area lights were motion sensor and significantly delayed, and our room's door didn't close without being slammed shut. There were missing things I would consider hotel essentials: facial tissues, a mat or towel for outside the shower, hand towels and washcloths, or a small sitting chair. The wall heater/AC wouldn't go into heat mode, and didn't seem to have a button to switch it over, so we ran the radiator. Woke up in the middle of the night to a room absolutely filled with steam, because there is absolutely no ventilation, so we turned it off.The lobby is a different story. It looks extremely modern and is clean and well kept. The location is extremely convenient and just a quick walk to trains and trams. We decided not to try the breakfast since we hadn't prepurchased it, but other reviews say it is good and the lobby and breakfast room do look nice and well kept, so it's probably as good as they say.We were only here for one night, so we didn't complain about the room, but I would have if we were here for any longer. I believe if we would have brought our concerns up, we would have been moved to a better room. But it wasn't worth it for just one night.

I stayed at this hotel many years ago when it was the Ambassador. Although there has been an extensive refurbishment it is still a good place to stay. It is a short walk from the main station.  …

This is your perfect budget hotel near Frankfurt central station. It is just five minutes away from the central railway stations with its ample connections everywhere. The surrounding urban area ist vivid with many bars, pubs and restaurants and - this is true for this area - a lot of sketchy people. The rooms in the hotel are okay for a few nights. All of them are quiet considering the central location. Don’t expect luxury, though.Staff is always ver friendly.Breakfast offers standard ibis items.

ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE TO STAY HERE! Please don‘t book this place on weekend, bars nearby will play music loud, we booked location based on accessibility but wasn‘t aware of music scenes.Accor can do better, windows are shitty, even you could hear music loud inside the room and I think hotel should also provide earplugs so that person can sleep well bit that wouldn’t work at all. Its almost 12 and this is getting loud.

Satisfied 100%.The only unpleasant thing was really loud music on Saturday night from the establishment right across the street. On the other hand on Sunday it was absolutely quiet, so just to bear in mind that one side of the hotel is exposed to busy street, so if you look for quiet, just ask the hotel for a room not situated towarards the street.

Im a gold member of the Accor group and this is the worst experience I have had across all the hotels I have stayed around the world. The room is dusty, aircon isn’t working, the housekeeping came into my room and took a keycard I left in the room, messed with my laundry, and did not clear the rubbish. They could have passed the keycard to anyone to access my room and stole my valuables. When I questioned the reception about the security of the hotel, I was simply told not to worry because housekeeping receives lots of complaints. They did not do anything to rectify the situation. The WiFi stopped working from day 2 onwards and I had asked them to fix it half a dozen times. Each time they told me it’s fixed, it wasn’t. So I only had wifi for the first night (which was about 4h) and I did not have any wifi for the rest of my stay (3 nights).

No problem with the hotel. Staff is good. Although location is very near the main train station, but the surrounding areas/ streets are not too pleasing .
