Super nice modern hotel with extremely friendly owner. I arrived late (after 7) and it was no problem to check in and order breakfast still. You order your breakfast in advance which I found quite practical and super easy.I had a single room the room was super spacious with bathtub and shower. Extremely clean and the lights and blinds can be remotely controlled via a tablet.

Remote modern hotel. Received nice suggestions of activities to explore. Restaurant on site is surprisingly good and highly recommend. Rooms small and not much privacy from the bathroom. Next to train station, but didn't notice the sounds.

I stayed here for one night on business. The room was quiet and clean. The bathroom is a bit small but completely sufficient. For dinner we ate in the in-house restaurant, which was really tasty and good. Unfortunately, the small breakfast buffet cannot keep up. But this is also enough for a good start to the day. All in all I was super satisfied. There is parking right next to the hotel and you can go directly to the elevator through the side entrance.

Very nice lady at reception. But the hotel is soulless: no one is there after 7 p.m. The bar is closed (Monday and Tuesday evenings) and no restaurant in the area. We got there by bike and had to drive another 2 kilometers to find a restaurant and go shopping. The room is quite small. There is nowhere to put the toiletry bags in the bathroom (no storage space) and when you have to go to the toilet at night, the whole room is unfortunately lit up (because of a glass door that is leaking). Of course the trains are running, which is loud at night with the windows open (it's very hot)...very disappointing especially given the price! Either a better standing or cheaper...that would be appropriate. I don't recommend the hotel.

Uncomfortable bed, especially the really uncomfortable pillows. The bathroom was divided from the bed which is in front only by a glass door, the result of which if one goes to the bathroom at night and turns on the light it automatically wakes up the sleeping person.Furthermore, as the icing on the cake, a single bin for sanitary napkins which should cover the needs of two people and which is largely insufficient. We went to throw the rubbish in the bins at the station because we had already filled the bin with two half-litre bottles of water. For the rest the location is excellent, close to the train station. They have a locked bike garage which makes parking safe.A public transport ticket is included in the stay.RESPONSE TO THE HOTEL.I would have liked to communicate directly with you, it's a shame that from 6pm there is no one at the reception.Since the comfort of the pillow is usually felt when you sleep, you might as well communicate that it was uncomfortable last night.Ditto for the bin, from 6pm there was no one at the reception.

The rooms are quite modern and simple. We had a room directly facing the tracks, which meant we had a view of the lake but also had to deal with the noise of the trains at night, especially if you wanted to ventilate at night in the heat. Here you have to know for yourself whether you can handle it or not. Nothing is being kept secret here - the hotel is called "am Gleis" after all. We preferred the noise to the warm air and had no problem with that. The lady at reception seemed a bit helpless but was very friendly. The breakfast is relatively very expensive. The argument that you should avoid a buffet for environmental reasons is probably more of a stretch. This is about profit.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights on our Lake Constance cycle tour this year. The rooms are modern, the bathroom was very clean. The room size was enough for us since we were cycling during the day anyway. The bicycles can be locked away in bicycle boxes and also charged in the boxes. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had breakfast at the hotel. We think the breakfast concept is well thought out. You order what you want for breakfast the day before and then only pay for what you have had for breakfast. We didn't have dinner at the hotel. The restaurant seemed a bit more upscale to us, which in our opinion doesn't really fit the concept of a cycling hotel. Here we would find small, simple dishes and snacks with a small bar more suitable for the evening. Nevertheless, the restaurant was full every evening. Which ultimately speaks for the restaurant concept. We still give it a full 5 stars and would love to come back!

We were there in December 2022 and it is still a matter close to my heart to write a review. The hotel is very lovingly furnished, clean and we felt very comfortable! The breakfast was chosen in advance, which speaks against food waste at the buffet. Accordingly, we were served with a very tasty breakfast. We'd love to come back when we get the chance! (:
