From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a level of hospitality that made me wonder if they mistook me for royalty.The location is straight out of a fairy tale, nestled in the charming village of Ramsberg and just a stone's throw from the picturesque Brombachsee. The rooms were cozy, clean, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of pretending to be an outdoor enthusiast.The on-site restaurant was the crown jewel of my stay. The menu offered a variety of delicious, locally-sourced dishes that were both flavorful and beautifully presented. The breakfast buffet was a feast fit for a king, with a wide selection of fresh and tasty options to start the day right. I may have eaten my weight in pastries, but hey, calories don't count on vacation, right?What truly sets Landgasthof Krone apart is the exceptional service. We reserved 2 rooms a day before and also called in the day of our arrival and everything was OK. But when we arrived there we had the pleasant surprise of finding that they rented our rooms. Also the owner almost kicked us out with a smile on his face. Congrats for the hospitality. These kind of people should not be in this business. To be avoided!

During a weekend visit to friends who had rented a room here, I had the opportunity to see a room. I can't understand the sometimes terrible reviews that have been given here. The room was clean and modernly furnished. Nothing was missing, not even a tooth cup.There is even a fully automatic coffee machine in the hallway. At this low price you can be completely satisfied.We were even allowed to park in the free parking lot as visitors.

I have been spending a few days at the Landgasthof Krone every year for years.The innkeepers are very friendly, helpful and happy to give tips and information about leisure activities.The accommodation, both in the main house and in the neighboring house, was always tip-top. Well suited for a stay if you expect a “normal” atmosphere at “normal” prices. The breakfast is rich and fresh.The property also includes free parking spaces opposite the main house.Unfortunately the operator no longer cooks, the food was always a pleasure. So there is no longer a pub, but there are a few restaurants right next to it or a little further away.When some guests complain about the owner's manner, all I can say is that it sounds like you're calling from the forest. Not everyone has a sense of more robust irony or directness, but anyone who gets upset here will do so everywhere.

The rooms and everything around them are partly outdated but relatively clean. The landlady tries hard and is very nice. The innkeeper is moody to the point of being snotty, seems a bit grubby, but they just try to make a living as best they can and it's certainly not always easy.We had no problem and had nice conversations with both of them.But you should be grateful to us guests and not, as I have seen/heard from others, unfriendly. Otherwise they won't come back.Unfriendly because I observed when a couple wanted to pay by card, the landlord almost shouted "Didn't you see the sign? No card payment possible".That's not possible, especially not these days, especially since there aren't any machines nearby.Apparently the card reader was just broken/under repair, this can also be communicated BEFORE.The breakfast offering - well. Let's put it this way, the coffee is good and you can get it yourself from a fully automatic machine, which is great. The landlady prepares tomato, mozzarella and quark in jars, which I think is good in terms of sustainability and you get a plate of sausage/cheese at your place, which I prefer than the food sitting there for hours and turning gray.Otherwise, frozen baked rolls, unfortunately almost everything was cheap-cheap.I won't come back, only the location on the lake is great, but there are alternatives for this price.My recommendation: modernize something, offer new bed linen/towels and some fresh things for breakfast.

We came here with the e-bike and were warmly welcomed by the innkeepers. Delicious breakfast buffet, sausage and cheese are served on plates directly to the table, seconds are no problem.There is a lockable container with loading facilities for the bikes.Gladly again

We were there with 8 people. We received a very warm welcome. Both were very nice, friendly and helpful, rooms were ok so far. Breakfast was tasty and sufficient, and you could get a second helping if you asked. 240m walk to Brombachsee. Next door is a very tasty Greek restaurant. There was also a drinks machine with glasses. We would definitely come back

Check-in was marked by complaints about negative reviews, I still felt sorry for the landlord. I promised to honor his own request for a positive review.However, in the evening, when I left the hotel again:He, sitting in front of the entrance: The door isn't closed!!Me: Oh, do you have to lock it?Him: no, just close itMe: I closed the doorHim: NO, it's not closed! I have known the door for 28 years!!I go to the door, shake it and say the door was and is closed!He passive-aggressively as if to a toddler: Sure?!As a paying adult guest aged 50, who needs such psychological terror on holiday? Thinking about that rude Grantler ruined my sunset.The black tufts of hair on the floor from the previous tenant in the freshly cleaned room, smelly musty towels (no detergent smells like that in the world) did the rest that I would no longer go to this outdated "hotel" for free.The friendliness of the cleaner doesn't help either!
