We had a lovely dinner here. Plenty of seating for our group and a good selection of kids meals. The kids loved that their drinks were served in Das Boot! I got the chicken with mushrooms and gravy and it was fantastic.

Had a great experience here. Nice parking garage on site. Rooms are clean and well kept. Great location, right in downtown area inside the gate. Highly recommend. We had our Assistance Dog and it is very close to a park area just beyond the gate.

The room was amazing, top floor, corner unit with a spectacular view of the Plonlein. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The bedding was comfortable, albeit the lack of air-conditioning meant you must rely on evening breezes to cool the room. The breakfast was large and varied, with many options reflecting local flair.

Really lovely Gasthof in the perfect Rothenberg-visiting location. Car garage is €12 a night. Breakfast is very good. The rooms are a very decent size, clean, tidy. Goo sized bathroom. The restaurant is very good - wines are excellent. I recommend a tasting.Draws a slightly older crowd, but second time we've been and would stay here next time too.

Heavily over-priced for the quality of food and service we got.Went for a meal. Stale bread, heavily over-salted lamb roast, bland cabbage roulade and a waiter discussing what we could do to make accounting easier for him because he had muddled up our drinks order.I’m pretty sure the lamb gave me the runs. Yay.

My single room had a small balcony which I was not expecting so I sat outside and enjoyed the evening sun on my arrival. The private parking was also very handy even f there is a cost. Check in finished early the day I was there as the restaurant was closed on the Monday so the staff finished early but still not too early. Breakfast was good and made the place even more good value for money. The location couldn't be better being right next to the most photographed location in Rothenburg meaning you got to see it when no one else was there n the early morning and late evening. Also an easy stroll to the central square and city walls.I highly recommend staying here and in Rothenburg ODT

The best part about the hotel is the location and the staff- both were excellent. But I wasn’t impressed with the room I had. It was exceptionally outdated, carpets were stained and old, and there were no amenities- no coffee maker nor tea kettle, no mini fridge or mini bar. I also had a small issue with ants. But my main problem was that the bed was soooo uncomfortable. I was there 3 nights and slept horribly all three nights. The mattress was just awful. I wouldn’t stay there again.

Rooms were a bit hot in summer (no fan or aircon) but otherwise well appointed and a good breakfast provided. Great restaurant downstairs. I recommend the wild garlic spaghetti with a glass of local wine

Location was amazing, just down the cobbled street from the main square. Parking garage was very easy to park my SUV in and the doors were shut at night so your car is secure. Restaurant in the hotel with wine tasting options…….. …
