I got a single room but very old, in another part of the building, on the last floor where the elevator is not going. Smelly corridors. Also, when I went up I did not get any instructions and I could not find the room, but apparently I was supposed to go on another part of thebuilding with an old elevator. Breakfast was nice, quite varied and the restaurant is beautiful.

The lights are automatic and would turn off and on during the night without movement. If you removed the card for power, all the outlets quit working. They tried fixing it 3 times to no avail.

I’ve been staying in this hotel on and off since 2007 and very little has changed since then. Rooms are quite tired and maintenance is haphazard. …

Right at the center of Erlangen, still calm and quiet with good facilities. The place is clean and most of the times having somebody at the Welcome counter. Has a lot of parking space and sitting both indoor and outdoors for quick snack / coffee or a drink. The place also offers conference rooms for corporate trainings and private parties.

Good hotel option, excellent location with plenty restaurants and bars nearby. I stayed here during a business trip. The lobby area and bar was very good, looked new and modern. The room is maybe in need of some renovation. …

Great little hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Family member was having a procedure done at a local hospital. This was the perfect location to support the family being close. The hotel is very cool. Breakfast is amazing! The breakfast room was awesome. It looks like an old jazz club in a wine cellar. The actual room you sleep in is not the biggest but plenty big enough for my needs. The light switch situation was pretty interesting... Pretty hi tech... All in all, a fantastic hotel!

It is June. 32°C outside. NO AIR CONDITIONING or even a ventilator in my room. Actually, my coworkers are in the same situation.Impossible to sleep. I've tried to, at least, open the window, but it didn't work. Moreover, it is really noisy.I could hear every single guest, having a shower, opening the doors of their rooms, or having a simple conversation, or their mobile phone sounds that they have received a message.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.Unfortunately, I cannot change it. So, I'm going to stay here for one more day.

The location is good, but the rooms have a horrible light that comes on automatically at night. I would not recommend it to anyone. Also the person at the reception, when I told her about the problem, was very overbearing and unfriendly.

I had a nice stay at Bayerischer Hof, the room was big enough for my needs and it was clean. The bed was big and comfy enough. The breakfast was great and the staff were super-friendly. We will definitely stay here next time we come to Erlangen (if they have available rooms 😊)
