We stayed here on our first night in Europe, honestly we mostly choose it for the very reasonable rate but also because it's not too far from the tourist part of Nuremberg (next time I'd probably book something more central though). …

Good hotel, a bit outside the centre but close to a U-bahn stop. The rooms are spacious with lots of areas to unpack. Breakfast is OK, the selection is not so big and it's a small serving area so gets very congested. Strangely if you want crockery or a kettle you have to pay a €50 deposit in cash. Bar was good and not expensive.

For the most part the rooms are reasonably spacious and the beds/ showers are pretty good, however we had a pretty major security breach that could have ended badly. Some other guests were given room keys to our room by accident. Fortunately we were in the room at the time (and not in any compromising state) but this had potential to ruin our entire trip as our passports and some valuables were in the room. Not only were other guests given our room keys, but our keys had been deactivated and needed to be reactivated at reception. We weren't offered any compensation for this or even really an apology, just told it was a "system issue" the nonchalance of which implied this wasn't the first time this had happened. What I suspect happened was that when we first arrived the computers seemed to be running extremely slow and playing up, so our details were taken manually, and then must not have been fully transferred to the online system afterwards. I think the hotel.management absolutely need to prioritize upgrading their computer systems to prevent this happening again, as it's a lawsuit waiting to happen, and the hotel is pretty good otherwise, breakfast is decent too.

If you come by car, probably you will not find any parking slot at all. We spent 2 hours looking for a parking slot. Their parking is too small and there was not availability. The reception didn’t help with recommendations to find parking. Their housekeeping will also wake you up early in the morning hitting the wall when cleaning the room next to you.

The wifi is slooooow. No smart tv so no casting. Tv talks about HDMI or chromecast but those are not available or reachable.Room service cleaned up despite a hanger on my door and did not clean when I removed the hanger. The temperature is good. The beds sleep fine. Breakfast is good. Staff at front desk are friendly and capable. I had a good stay during Challenge Roth. Oh also chargers for electric vehicles are available in the garage.

Clean and pet (in our case: cat) friendly hotel. Perfect for one night. The old centre of Nuremberg is easily reachable with an electric step.

All rooms feature leopard pictures inside the toilets. The room I was assigned had two such pictures, with a larger one near the shower area and a smaller one opposite the toilet. This made me extremely uncomfortable. I cannot even dare to go to the toilet myself. The single bed width is 5.5 times that of an iPhone 14. It is around 80.7cm, which is shorter than normal ones (90cm). And the gap between two single beds is too big. I felt really uncomfortable when I slept across another single bed. I once almost fell from the bed.Furthermore, as a foreign guest, I encountered rudeness from the hotel staff when I requested assistance to cover the leopard pictures. Despite my polite request, the receptionist refused to help. I was left with no choice but to ask a hotel guest for assistance. He went to the reception to ask for tape (Klebeband) and helped cover part of the pictures.I approached the hotel reception three times to request a refund for the next night of April XXth - YYth due to the discomfort and lack of sleep caused by the situation. They, however, refused. They cited an ongoing exhibition in Nürnberg and stated that they were unable to refund the cost, despite my early notification at 1:00 am on April XXth.

The concept of this hotel is quite fun, the branding with the lion carrying through halls and rooms is unusual and memorable. However, the finishes could be better in some places. Some of the wallpaper had marks already or small patches where it was lifting away from the wall. The open shelving for example might be a modern touch but the white paint on the railings chips easily and the hangers bump around. The kitchenette in the rooms is also a grand idea, but it literally contains nothing by default. I'd like at least a kettle and some cups as standard in a room. Room doesn't have any spare pillows by default which is fine, as staff are friendly and can help out with that.Beds are a bit too soft for my liking. Price seems okay.

Close to subway and super market . Subway is cheap in Nuremberg . Micro greens for breakfast ? What ?! Good value for $
