A nice little hotel in Rothenburg. Within walking distance to everything in the medieval town. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms themselves are old and do not have A/C. The breakfast was adequate but nothing special. A solid place to stay.

Great location but an average and overpriced hotel with small (cramped) traditional rooms without any aircon. Reasonably clean but don't look under the bed. The rooms would be ok if priced appropriately but not great value. Owners are very pleasant and helpful, breakfast was ok too. Main advantage of this hotel if it's location just inside the medieval walls and the fact it had car parking next to the hotel.

Stayed two nights in May. Parked around the corner and asked at reception where to park and the hotel has a small gated car park just opposite the hotel. Found a space and checked in. …

We were greeted very warmly, and offered both English and German. When checking in, we chose to speak only German. When checking out, we somehow changed to use almost only English. Both languages were easy to use and understand. We took a room for 3 people (1 large bed, 2 smaller beds). The room was large, even by US standards. It was divided into 4 rooms: main bedroom, living room with small sofa and TV, second bedroom with two single beds, and a bathroom. The bathroom was also large, with two sinks, toilet, and full size shower / bathtub. The windows in all rooms functioned well and let plenty of fresh air through. While there is no air conditioning it was completely comfortable for us. Temperatures outside reached 25C (almost 80F) during the day, but the room stayed comfortable. The room was dark and quiet all night. The beds were comfortable. The location is fantastic, within a 10-15 minute walk from the train station, and just inside the city wall at a main entrance. It was only a few minutes walk to the market square, restaurants, a grocery store, post office, cafes (coffee shops), plenty of shopping, and sites such as St Jacob's church and the medieval crime museum.

My wife needed to use the restroom for emergency femme reasons and the women inside rhe restaurant yelled at her calling her "rift raft" do you think we let any rift raft in to the washroom? This was in front of all the other guests and everyone is looking now. This is unbelievable to me, distinguished middle aged travellers asking for assistance. Terrible humanity inside this place Wednesday at 8:30am on Sep 20th.This is the last impression of this beautiful city we have now. Avoid this hotel there is much better

This is a great hotel for the family! We booked a two bedroom and it worked perfectly for the four of us (two kids ages 6 and 8). The room was clean and had everything we needed. Nothing fancy but very utilitarian. Great cabinet space and room for everyone's cases. The bathroom has two sinks and shower over large tub, great! Breakfast was and good spread and they have a cool coffee machine that makes cappuccino, coffee, and even hot chocolate for the kids. The staff was very nice and helpful. Parking is just across the street behind the wood fence. Also, just a few steps away from the city walls which the kids loved. Would start again!

Stayed here for a night and was pleased. Staff at reception and restaurant are very friendly and super helpful. Room was a bit small but still manageable. It was clean and comfortable as were the beds.  …
