We were staying in the tiny house over the weekend. IT. WAS. PHENOMENAL!Really nice house, clean and modern. You can write a mail to the owner and they were really fast in answering all our questions plus there was even the owner who checked in, if everything was okay. Perfect location if you wanna go hiking around the Wasserkuppe. Wasn't our last time there, really happy about choosing the tiny house for our vacation :)

We stayed there with friends and their two children, in the main building. The place is clean, well situated, and the staff is really nice. The restaurant there is absolutely worth a stop ! Delicious local food for a very reasonable price, I highly recommend the restaurant. Regarding the breakfast, the staff really did their best in corona times. The hotel itself is getting a bit old but again, spotless clean. The staff and owners all are very friendly, I can't stress this enough. Thank you for a relaxing (and delicious) time.

Great accommodation (Berghof opposite), really good food (price-portion-quality). Located directly below the Wasserkuppe. A service person at breakfast in the morning didn't work at all. Everyone may have a bad day from time to time, but you should maintain a certain basic standard when dealing with guests, otherwise you are in the wrong place in the direct customer interface or in direct customer contact. If you don't have it under control, you could have at least apologized. Especially since the occasion was void (an additional place setting was requested).

The hotel was recommended to me by a friend. I also recommend it because the operators are super nice and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and beautifully prepared. Right from the hotel you can easily walk to the Wasserkuppe and other excursion destinations.

The hotel area downstairs and the restaurant are clean and nicely decorated. The rooms and bathroom are quite small, the shower was probably forgotten during the renovation, but everything is very clean. WiFi very bad.Great parking lot, the outside area is also nice.The breakfast buffet was like this, but the menu had more to offer, the food was good and as a vegetarian you also have a pretty good selection, the price-performance ratio is right.What wasn't possible was that the service staff seemed completely overwhelmed and annoyed. Sometimes you had to wait 30 minutes for the drinks. If you asked politely, you got a stroppy and unqualified answer. There was at the reception or There was actually only one very friendly employee behind the counter, even the boss was 95% unfriendly.Even the unfriendliness resulted from the fact that the hotel was fully booked last weekend, something like that just doesn't work! As a guest you no longer dared to ask or say anything.I can't recommend this hotel unless you want to experience a slightly different, friendly hotel… "The Rhön is beautiful, even more beautiful without the Rhön." *Good luck!

We had dinner here. The service was really busy, but was still super quick and always friendly. The food tasted great and the portions were really generous. It took 45 minutes from ordering to paying and we ate in peace. 3 people with drinks 52 euros - incredible value for money.Top gastronomy that you have to recommend!Thank you to the people there!
