In the last 4 years, me and my son have been here twice and we were satisfied. Food was good and the rooms were clean. Would like to come back but don't know whether it's closed because of the renovation or did you have to close forever because of Corona?? Addendum July 3rd, 2024 Unfortunately nothing happens here. Are you closed because you are still renovating? Or, like many others, you didn't survive the Corona pandemic financially and therefore had to close forever. An honest answer would be great.

The sheer horror.A loud bell rings for breakfast and dinner, and from 10 p.m. the lights in the hallways go off and the doors lock automatically. In the morning and evening there is only bread and very few options for toppings. Lunch always tastes like it's made from leftovers from the last few days. The bathrooms were very old, the normal rooms were very dirty, we found spiders everywhere and even old socks. All in all, not a nice experience, I strongly recommend everyone to stay away from this youth hostel.

The taste of the food is okay, although breakfast is the best. The selection is sufficient and tasty. Lunch pack can still be improved: too much sweet and I would have liked water with it. The positive thing is that we had our own hallway! Unfortunately, WiFi only works on the ground floor. It would be desirable if the rooms were modernized and had their own bathroom or the bathrooms were renovated (some mold) and the showers were completely separated. Nevertheless, the youth hostel is okay. Close to the beach, Hansapark and Hamburg can also be reached easily and quickly by coach.

Breakfast was great, there's nothing wrong with it. Dinner was a matter of taste. Rooms were clean and spacious. For the price you really can't complain. Staff super friendly, even to my uncouth girls 😉

The accommodation is only recommended for elementary school students with bad behavior, because at 10 p.m. the lights are off and the doors are closed. I (a 10th grade student) felt like I was in a prison. The pictures on the internet don't show the truth either. The girls' showers are 30cm close to each other without a divider. Furthermore, the food is probably only designed for small children, as we almost never had enough and had to constantly ask for more food. When we asked questions, we were often looked at strangely and our questions were answered very unfriendly. There are more things that could be criticized, but I wouldn't be finished with this post tomorrow.Ultimately, this accommodation is not recommended as a final destination.

The food was bad because there was hair and lint in the food. In addition, the beds were very squeezy. No proper mirrors in the room as your vision was blurry. The girls' bathroom in particular is very uncomfortable because there is no window near the toilets and there are only 2 showers. The surroundings were very nice because the sea is very close to the youth hostel.

way too expensive for the accommodation. (29.50 per person per night) with breakfast but in our opinion not justified. The inside of the house and the rooms and toilets look very old and shabby. There are spiders wreaking havoc in the toilets. Showers are not separated so no privacy is guaranteed. In addition, two of us were only given one Ostseecard. We later found out at the tourist information that every guest who pays the tourist tax is entitled to an Ostseecard.

Great youth guest house. The team there is very helpful and super flexible. I compromise on the very hard mattresses and the lunch, breakfast and dinner are fantastic!I would come here again with a class at any time!
