It was OK ...

It's always nice in Tanja's guesthouse. My brother and I have been coming to Travemünde for years and we always feel very comfortable here. Everything is just right here. The breakfast is fantastic, nothing is missing. Everything is also very clean and the hostess does everything she can to make her guests' stay as pleasant as possible. So we are completely satisfied and we are already looking forward to our next visit to Tanja's guesthouse.

In 2016, a friend recommended this guesthouse to me and I was more than satisfied. That's why I'm speechless when I read my predecessor's review here. Because that doesn't correspond to reality in any way.In August of this year I was very lucky to get a room from one day to the next. I would like to thank the owner once again for this. Otherwise I would have had to cancel my vacation. My room and all other rooms were very clean and clean. The breakfast was rich and left nothing to be desired. The pleasant atmosphere and ambience make you immediately feel at home. A great price-performance ratio. Many thanks to the hostess for this wonderful time. And I will definitely book again and am already looking forward to my next vacation.

We are regular guests at the Bed and Breakfast Travemünde and are very satisfied. The breakfast is rich and made with love. The atmosphere is very familiar and we met nice people there. It's almost like a holiday in the country, only without the cows. We'll be going back soon.

We came to this accommodation through friends between Christmas and January 2nd, 2018. We just needed somewhere to sleep and breakfast. I've read all the reviews and it's inexplicable to me how extremely negative things can happen there. It is a very lovingly run, full and clean guesthouse. The breakfast is very, very plentiful and varied. The selection of sausage, cheese, jam, honey and some salads (poultry, Budapest, etc.) including a boiled egg for breakfast is something that some star hotels cannot match. Coffee and tea as much as you like all day long. There's nothing to complain about when it comes to price. 10 minutes to the promenade, 15 minutes to the beach. We would definitely book there again and again.

It was a disaster!We visited there for the first and last time last year.The house hasn't been renovated for a long time and you can tell that people smoked there for a long time. Not for allergy sufferers and people who don't like sleeping in cold smoke!In addition, the hostess is very rude and rude. She sends emails via booking.de that arrival is possible until 7 p.m. However, she becomes very rude and sometimes abusive if you actually arrive in the evening.In addition, our ROOM, which had been paid for in advance with a credit card, was simply reassigned, so we got another one. She also emphasized that we were lucky to get one at all given our late arrival. She didn't mention at all that the room had already been paid for and it was her mistake that we didn't arrive until around 7 p.m. She made a huge mistake in her tone.In the morning there is a breakfast, which was actually rich and painstakingly prepared.We felt very uncomfortable throughout our stay and will not visit this guesthouse a second time.

We stayed in this "accommodation" for a week. At first I was shocked at the condition of the rooms offered to us. In my opinion, this accommodation does not meet the hygienic criteria that you can at least expect for a holiday apartment in this price range. Some room sprays were used to mask the unpleasant smell. However, this couldn't prevent the musty smell from getting rid of. The facility was obviously made from bulky waste. There were no closets. The closet in the room assigned to us that can be seen in the picture was a dummy. Only cupboard doors were installed on carpet. Our privacy was not respected. The landlady rumbled around her apartment until late at night, so sleeping was out of the question. The description mentions a shared bathroom. However, when we asked over the phone, we were guaranteed that we would have our own toilet. Contrary to the landlord's statement, this was then used by other residents (obviously acquaintances of the landlord). Even in the breakfast room there was no possibility to have breakfast alone at the table. As if that wasn't enough. When you tried to contact the landlady at her apartment, she didn't respond. On the contrary, she turned up the music loudly and left us standing in front of a closed door. When we were able to speak to her she became rude and rude. We have never had such accommodation during the "most wonderful time of the year". .... Oh and before I forget; The landlady had the audacity to charge the tourist tax twice. Unfortunately, we were unable to finally clarify this at the holiday destination, so we only took up the issue again at home. After inquiring with Booking, we were told that the landlady was doing this illegally. It can't be that this guesthouse got over 7 stars when booking. That's why I'm leaving a review here on Google to warn potential buyers not to make the same mistake we did. Let's see if you can't give a star. If not, everyone should know that I only gave it for “technical reasons”. Okay... that's how it is. Even if a star now twinkles, every reader should be sure that this facility is not suitable for enjoying the most wonderful time of the year. Even the simplest demands are not met. In the past, we have found much better holiday homes, apartments or guesthouses for less money, whose operators were friendly, reliable and competent.

We ended up in this guesthouse by chance 10 years ago and have been staying there for a few days several times a year ever since. There is nothing wrong with it, unless you love it uncomfortable, distant, unfamiliar, animal-free, and anonymous. Tanja runs the bed and breakfast with passion, she responds sensitively to the needs of her guests, tries to meet all their wishes and has an excellent price-performance ratio. Small examples: I was looking for accommodation for my severely disabled father - Tanja called around for hours to help me..; got us a vet for our sick dog; gave us the kitchen to fry fish in the middle of the night. You can immediately feel comfortable and at home there - always happy! (which is also what all the hotel guests say about Booking com)!!!!!!.

We have been very satisfied customers in this guesthouse for many years. The atmosphere is very positive and highly recommended. The lounges and guest rooms are very well maintained and have a very comfortable atmosphere. We have also always been very satisfied when it comes to leisure activities. For example We were able to use bicycles so that we could go on nice trips with our children to the beach and the surrounding area. Small special requests were never a problem, especially not with regard to our children, who always felt particularly comfortable here. So we can only recommend this guesthouse highly recommend
