I was realistically not expecting too much for the price I paid, but this was genuinely the worst hostel experience I’ve ever had. …

Perfect stay, very cheap and located nearby train and tram station so it’s easy to get everywhere aroundThe guys were very helpful when I asked about additional day and they found an alternative although it costed them a bit of time and consideration due to people going in and out, they are also mostly available on site till very late hours, and no complains about me walking around in the middle of the night 😄There is a kitchen with oven, microwave, fridge etc so you can get cheap food from nearby store and warm it up or cool down your drinksFor some people there may be a downside in regard of shared shower space but personally it doesn’t bother me at allTo the only one existing 1 star review (as of now) - I don’t understand what people expect to see at a VERY cheap place like that - they should go to a 5 star hotel, pay 200€ for night and not even have a kitchen but be forced to overpay for everything they offer and be proud of their king size bed and room that isn’t that different from the cheap ones and don’t even get a fridge to cool down their drinks. They are stupid to look for 200% comfort for 1% price 🤣I’ll surely come back there when I’ll be around 👌

The worst hostel experience I have ever had. No one was there to check me in at 4:00pm and it took me 20 minutes to get a hold of someone - no one picked up on the number provided or the general number for the hostel. When the man did arrive, he was very hostile and immediately told me I had booked wrong and refused to give me my paid-for room (for which I had a confirmation email and receipt), instead only offering me a bed in a male dorm or telling me I could leave (without a refund). I only received my money back after repeated requests (but was still left stranded with all other accommodation booked out). Definitely stay away - the place was run-down and deserted and I can understand why. 0/5

The price for the rooms is affordable, but that's about it. The hostel is located in an industrial area quite far from the city center, it has dark rooms, a very unappealing common area and the staff does not seem to care at all. …

One of the cheapest accomodation in Rostock, it's out the centre but easily accessed by tramway or S Bahn. Rooms are fairly basic but the bunks are ok. Good sanitary rooms, usable galley and a lounge complete the storry. But it was pretty cold on their at the time and evenings there's no restaurant or bar in walking distance...

I want to start this review by highlighting the positive aspects about this hostel. First of all, the price is more than fair, definitely the best deal in Rostock. …

We stayed here one night. As we reserved and payed via booking we expected to have no problems. When we are arrived we had to pay one more time the whole prices of the room because he didn't believe us we payed. …

It's cheap you get what you pay for. Free wifi. No towels included in the price. No free coffee or tea. Kitchen was really dirty with trash everywhere. Beds making noises for every turn someone makes at night. Would not recommend.

The gentleman at reception was super friendly! The room (two of us slept in a four-bed room) was clean and spacious. Because the hostel is located almost directly (5 minutes on foot) at the S-Bahn station, you can quickly get to the main train station and the IGA Park. The only small drawback is the women's toilet. This smelled a bit unpleasant.

The hostel is about 3 minutes away from the S-Bahn and tram stop. In about 15 minutes you can reach Warnemünde and in 25 minutes you can reach the center of Rostock. The hostel is in a quiet area. The staff is very friendly and helpful and available from morning to evening. The rooms, bathrooms and kitchen have been renovated. The beds are comfortable. The hostel is highly recommended.
