Short and sweet:Arrival day was forgotten, everything was dirty, dusty and moldy. The whole apartment was very musty and you had to air it out.Payment had to be made in cash, but changing was not possible and the change took over a week.Guaranteed hygiene products, toilet paper and other items were also not available and there was no response to inquiries via WhatsApp.There was also no supposed private parking space available.The only friendly thing was the goodbye from the husband.As I like to say, the pictures are worth a thousand words.

We were warmly welcomed and given lots of ideas for our short vacation. This all worked smoothly.The rooms are ok in terms of furnishings. You shouldn't expect luxury. But we had much, much nicer things for that price. Unfortunately, there is no kitchen or even a sink in the "kitchen area". But we knew this from the description.But what bothered us was the general cleanliness of the room. It was only superficially cleaned. I wanted to plug my cell phone into the socket next to the bed. Then I saw weeks of dirt, also on the baseboards next to the television. Very disgusting.An apartment really has to be clean!!There is also no shelf in the shower. It was really inconvenient to shower there.I used the kettle once and then lost my appetite.CONCLUSION: we don't need it again.

I recently had the dubious pleasure of staying at the private rental Giese in Kiel. Unfortunately, I cannot give a positive review because my stay was initially characterized by a lack of host friendliness. I was particularly shocked and disappointed by the landlord's tone.When I wanted to check in after 9 p.m. and contacted the landlord by phone to inform him about it, I was told in an extremely unfriendly manner: "That's not possible, I don't do that... only with regular customers." This statement felt like a slap in the face to me because I felt like I was being treated as a second-class newcomer. Such behavior is unacceptable and does not correspond to the standards of a discerning accommodation establishment.It is unfortunate that the Giese private rental company has lost me as a potential regular customer. I can only advise anyone not to book this accommodation. The comments read before arrival about the unfriendly behavior of the landlords were unfortunately confirmed. Host friendliness is an essential part of a pleasant stay, and in this case it was clearly neglected.However, when it comes to the cleanliness of my room and the bathroom, I have to say in fairness that they were rated as good. Nevertheless, the comments of other guests confirm that the room is cluttered with all sorts of stuff and was by no means harmonious or carefully chosen. This contributes to an overall disappointing impression.All in all, I cannot recommend the private rental Giese in Kiel. I was disappointed by the landlords' unfriendly behavior and inadequate attention to detail and hospitality. There are certainly better options for accommodation in Kiel that will make you feel welcome and valued as a guest.

Unfortunately I wasn't very satisfied. When we arrived, I was reprimanded for standing in a private parking lot, which of course I didn't know. When I checked in with my daughter (3 years old), it was mentioned that the pension owners live directly below me and they hope that my daughter doesn't make a noise (very unpleasant).The room itself was very large and very nicely furnished but unfortunately not clean. Unfortunately you couldn't use the terrace because everything from the table to the chairs and floor was still dirty. There was hair in the bathroom and unfortunately also on the sheets in the bed. And unfortunately there were cobwebs all over the room. I booked the room in February. So you had enough time to let the room shine. I had booked with breakfast. Breakfast cost €4 for my daughter and €8 for me. Unfortunately the rope wasn't worth the money. You only got baked rolls that were still half raw, a little butter and a slice of cheese and a little sausage and jam. Overall, I personally would not book this accommodation again.

Couple in their late 40s, 5-year-old child, stayed in the main house, 1st floor for one night. Price-performance ratio is not right at all. Unfortunately, we fell for the beautiful photos on the Giese guest rental website. The photos must be many years old because the room was very worn out, outdated and tastelessly furnished, with furniture, dishes, etc. all thrown together.The bed linen was completely crumpled, so we couldn't completely put aside the thought that someone had slept in it before us. The furniture was partially damaged and patched with plaster (wooden bed). The room was dusty, dirty and full of cobwebs in the corners and we didn't feel comfortable or welcome.The seating area, which was so beautiful in the photos, was dirty and covered in dirt, and the seating was also dirty. You definitely don't want to spend time there!The landlords were unfriendly, almost rude when greeting us.Definitely not recommended!!!!

I wouldn't come back - everything was only superficially clean. It's dusty everywhere. The room is cluttered with worn out furniture. Arrival only from 5 p.m. I definitely do not recommend it !!!!!!

The madness!!The landlords were not present upon arrival! The daughter didn't know. At my request, the mother was contacted and we were told that we could only move into the room at 5 p.m. So we drove to the city of Kiel. When we were finally able to move into the room at 5 p.m., we were offered a basement room - with unironed bed linen, dirty floors - I don't even want to mention anything else (dead and living spiders). Offering a room like that is an absolute disgrace and getting money for it too. The path to the room was littered with rubbish and had a strange musty smell. Electrical installation of bedside lamps adventurous! No smoke detectors or escape plan in the room, no fire extinguisher in the hallway! Door strips on the shower cubicle moldy, hairdryer super disgusting!. Luckily we had our own hairdryer with us. The TV in the room (mini) didn't work - only after asking several times did Mr. Pour well or over to us trying downwards. Breakfast came for 2 people - it was placed in front of the room door on a cleaning bucket - for 2 baked rolls, 4 mini slices of cheese, 1 dirty thermos flask of coffee, 1 little milk (enough for 1 cup of coffee) - when I asked for more milk I had to have one Bring your own cup for the milk. For 8 € a bottomless disgrace!!! A parking space for the car was guaranteed - but then rejected again - and a place to park two bikes - then had to be placed in front of the garden house, which was full of rubbish. A guesthouse like this definitely needs to be closed. It doesn't work at all.!!

Very friendly landlord. Pretty, beautifully furnished guest rooms. Clean and tidy, unfortunately no breakfast but you can live with that during the holidays. Complete understanding. Very good starting point for activities. Attentive and helpful host family.

It was clean, quiet and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, in our opinion, we were not greeted particularly warmly by the lady of the house. There was no question of whether you had arrived safely and it was straight away about formalities and money. I imagine it to be different, especially with a private rental.
