We wanted to spend our main vacation this year in Austria. Since we live in the north of Germany, we were looking for accommodation for a stopover. Searched and found - the Steinhoffmühle in Hauzenberg. Best decision, we immediately felt comfortable. The farmer Sepp and his wife Rosalinde welcomed and welcomed us in a very friendly manner. The carlette was super clean, everything we needed was there, lots of space, everything was very friendly and well maintained. Our daughter fell in love with the two ponies and our son also had a lot of fun on the farm. The farmer takes the children with him on his tractor and the whole farm is generally very child-friendly. An incredibly nice time with the Kimminger team :). Even the farmer invited all the guests to his 60th birthday - simply very guest-friendly, well-kept and great people. If we are in the area again we would go there again.Thank you for that. We wish the whole family all the best 🍀

This year we were back with Sepp and Rosalinde after a 15-year break. We had previously visited them four times with our daughter. This year we visited with our grandsonWe felt like we had never taken a break for that long. We were welcomed very friendly and lovingly. We will definitely visit them both again. We thank you for the beautiful days.

With our grandson we were guests of the Kimminger family for a long weekend.We experienced and enjoyed the family's friendliness and willingness to help.The modern, homely chalet is perfectly furnished. You can heat with wood to make yourself comfortable in an outdoor hot tub.The quiet surroundings are perfect for hiking and jogging.A tip: The Johann Koller restaurant in Hundsdorf 23, 94136 Thyrnau is definitely worth a visit.

I don't usually write a review, but this time we just have to. After 2021, we were with the Kimminger family in Hauzenberg for the second time and yes, what can you say... it is indescribable there. You get to know real farm life and are allowed to help at any time, but you don't have to. Sepp and Rosalinde are kind-hearted people and are always available to give advice and support. We actually had so many things planned in terms of things to do, but shit, our children decided against amusement parks and just wanted to enjoy farm life. Petting cows, feeding calves and cuddling with them. Cleaning out the stable, running around in the hay, driving a KettCar, painting, doing handicrafts, baking stick bread over the campfire and so on. It takes children back to their roots and you will be amazed at how little they actually need to be happy. Away from digital litter. We adults have also been able to experience things that we have never experienced before. Calf birth live and with us. Bullying etc. Our children cried for the first time because the holiday was over. In addition, there is suitable accommodation for every budget, whether stylish in the new wooden chalet with its own sauna and outdoor pool as well as a fireplace or simple and affordable in the farm's own apartments. All offers have one thing in common, namely a cleanliness that is second to none, we thought we were the first to move in xDWe'll be back again and again. Thank you Roslinde and thank you Sepp for allowing us to share our days off with you.

Beautiful farm with an impressive location. Paradise for children As a child you have many freedoms such as: To be included in everyday life on the farm, the children are allowed to drive the tractor or do other agricultural activities. The range of Kettcars and turning tractors is as large as other activities. There are charging options for e-cars and sufficient parking spaces for cars.The apartments are very well maintained and clean. The operators are two kind-hearted people and are always there for you if there is any problem. So the holiday destination can only be recommended.

We spent our first farm holiday in the Steinhofmühle and what can I say... today we said goodbye with tears🥺It was an incredibly great time with you on the farm! Thank you very much Rosalinde and Sepp, we have taken you to our hearts! And we’re already looking forward to next year❤️The farm is run with a lot of love for the animals, is very clean and has everything your heart desires!The children get their money's worth, not only in terms of playing opportunities but also helping out with everyday farm life and driving the tractor.The apartments are very comfortable and very clean!!We recommend this farm 100%. If you want to have a relaxing, adventurous and relaxed holiday, then the Steinhofmühle is perfect!Not to forget the secluded location from the entire farm without any annoying cars, perfect for children!❤️-Thank you Rosalinde and Sepp, we are really looking forward to next year!❤️Kind regards from the Kroon family

A regular guest there for over 20 years and still a pleasure to be a guest.Our children practically grew up there and never wanted to vacation anywhere else. For us it was the most beautiful and relaxing vacation, because if the children like it, it is very relaxed for the parents. We still go to Kimmingers, just without the kids now.

So we were there for the second time. First 1 week of Pentecost and now 2 weeks of summer vacation. A very well-kept farm that leaves nothing to be desired. Children are very well integrated into everyday life. Driving a tractor--feeding calves---riding ponies---feeding cows---big seesaw----swinging...The farm is alone which makes playing for the children MEGAAAA. No traffic disturbs the children's fun. Trampoline--2 super cool Kettcars with pillion seat---Tricycles--Bulldog with trailer--Table tennis table everything is there.There is a great seating area in the courtyard where everyone can sit and linger. A grill with a granite top is available for everyone. In the evening a campfire is lit where marshmallows can be grilled.The apartments are very, very clean and beautifully designed. The apartments appear clean and well-maintained. WiFi is free..Every morning (except Sundays) the bakery truck comes (around 7.30-8.00) and supplies you with fresh baked goods (and believe me, the nice lady has some really tasty things with her).We have already booked for Pentecost 2021 because it is a great way to slow down from the hectic pace of life.All in all, it is a farm where everyone gets their money's worth, but especially the children.

Well-kept farm with dairy cows and calves. At the moment (2018) there are two ponies that small children can ride. The farmer and farmer's wife are very fond of children, as is the farm dog.The rooms are modern and well-kept, free WiFi.The quiet location allows the hustle and bustle of city life to fade away and you can relax.20 minutes by car to the beautiful city of Passau.People like to come back here again and again.

We have been coming to this idyllic farm for years. Very relaxing. Children of all ages are included in everyday farm life and find a variety of play and activity opportunities on the grounds. Even after years, we don't run out of excursion destinations in the area. Highly recommended and great farming family.
