🙂 Rooms were nice, beds and pillows comfortable, staff very helpful and pleasant, breakfast very diverse, location super convenient.😐 The temperature in the rooms cannot be customized (I wanted to make it warmer but couldn't). The prices are pretty high and on the first night I was charged a 40 euros security deposit I wasn't informed about at the time. The next day I was told it was refundable. Also, there should be more amenities for a four star hotel, like bath robes, slippers, etc.

I had an overnight layover in Munich during a long travel itinerary and I stayed at this hotel. I really liked it! It is about a 10-15 min taxi or shuttle ride from the airport. The hotel sits above a beautiful Bavarian town, and it is an easy, very safe ~5 min. walk into the historic town center. When I visited in early July, the town was full of roses, cyclists, and dads walking their babies in strollers. I somehow managed to eat in all 3 of the hotel restaurants during my short stay and all were good. The staff were friendly and professional and spoke perfect English, which was good for me because my German is limited at best. I'd look forward to staying here again. One final note - I was travelling in and out of terminal 1, and the hotel shuttle, for which there is a small fee (15 Euro at time of this review), picks up/drops off at terminal 2, but these terminals are connected underground and it's easy enough to walk between them. I was a bit confused about this on the way in and ended up taking a taxi to the hotel, but on the way back to the airport I could see that it was actually pretty easy to find the shuttle at terminal 2.

It’s not a true airport hotel. It’s about a 20 minute ride. The hotel provides a shuttle, but it’s an additional fee and more expensive and less convenient than a taxi. It’s also a pretty far walk from the train station. At night, the walk is not well lit and was quite uncomfortable for me as a woman by herself.The rooms themselves are fine, but a bit ragged. There was a hole in the towels, and they’re very worn.Service and staff were great.

Overall my stay here was good. I am still a little confused by the amenities claiming they have air conditioned rooms. I can say our room on the 4th floor was NOT. There is a thermostat selector for a fan and heat but no cold air. I was there in late May and several days after sightseeing it would have been nice to come back to a cooler room, (on the days it was over 80 degrees F). The windows do open however so once the sun went down the room would cool down. The breakfast is very good and there is a lot to choose from. The staff were very nice and helpful. The restaurant there was also quite good.

Very nice hotel with large, comfortable rooms and friendly staff. The check in process was fast. The AC didn’t seem to work but two of the windows opened and the cool air was pleasant during the night.I had dinner at the bar/restaurant and sat outside on the patio. Very nice! Fish and Chips was excellent.

For an airport hotel it's frustrating that it's a 25+ minute drive from the airport. 15 Euro shuttle per person each way was unexpected. Village where the hotel is located is quaint but the hotel lacks a little, particularly in service. When we arrived someone was getting arrested in the lobby! Staff were mostly absent from the front desk and it was still before midnight. Another guest and I waited ten minutes for anyone to show up to help us. Calls to the front desk from the room went totally unanswered. No staff working the bar. They had a strange self serve store where you could get canned and bottled drinks. Internet was slow even for a hotel.
