We visited in June. I lived in Stuttgart in the mid 80's. The staff were very helpful helping us work out s-bahn, u-bahn. Location of hotel fabulous as near hauptbahnoff, near town shops, near lots of lovely bars/restaurants....ideal. As euros on the square was sealed off but a lovely security guard took me inside barriers to get a photoHotel very clean, room fabulous & comfortable. Breakfast nice, staff all amazing. Thankyou, wish I could have stayed longer

Me and my mom enjoyed very much when we stayed at this homely hotel. The hotel’s staffs were welcoming, pleasant and helpful. They made us feel at home especially after travelling away from our country. The hotel design is also very cosy and warm. The room is very clean & well maintained too. This morning we enjoyed the best breakfast we ever had in Germany since the past one week(better than the 4-5stars hotel we stayed). The food tasted like a traditional German breakfast with great spreads. We would say the boss of this hotel is very lucky to have such an excellent staffs to run the hotel. The location is nearby to all the amenities and it is great for travelling. Will definitely come again with my other family members in future.

Chose it on price and location. Very good value - possibly end of season deal? 10 minutes walk from station (currently a complete shambles), 10 minutes to main tourist sights, very near metro etc. Slightly dated, but very clean. …

This was our groups third trip to Stuttgart, and this was the best hotel yet! This hotel was chosen as it seemed good value, if not a little cheaper than others at the time. So, we were expecting this to be reflected in our stay. …

After over 30 hours travel with a number of connecting flights from Australia and train to Stuttgart, I checked into Hotel Unger 23 April. The reception staff were extremely obliging, helpful and spoke excellent English offering that I could go to the restaurant to have a cup of coffee and offered something to eat understanding I would be tired. It was very clear this was a family run business with a strong customer service culture of looking after guests. There was a small table at reception with apples and water for guests to enjoy. My room was spacious and had a small balcony with flower pots. I thought this was very considerate that I was able to have a balcony and get some fresh air. The breakfast staff were very attentive and I enjoyed a beautiful breakfast of eggs, beer sticks and bircher muesli with coffee. The staff in the hotel seem to enjoy what they do, not just their job but brightening people's day. I was so pleased that I was able to stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for great service with a smile and kindness when travelling. Hotel Unger - They really do care!
