My review has been deleted. I left a review with photos and videos of this horror. We are refugees from Ukraine. We lived there for 5 months. There are bugs infested there. For 5 months the problem was not solved. Only when the situation gained publicity and the media only then overpowered us. I still keep the video and photos. I can send it to anyone interested.

Terrible place. We are refugees from Ukraine. We were placed in this hostel in March. There are bedbugs in the hostel. The next morning we woke up bitten. We contacted the manager and he replied that there was no problem, we came up with it. When we started catching them and showing them photos, he came to process them. There was no result, then he brought us the product, we sprayed it, there was no result either. When I wrote a post on Facebook and people started helping me and calling services, and journalists became interested in this, they overpowered us from there. During processing, we slept in cars, because the smell was terrible, and there was no alternative; no one wanted to help. I don’t advise anyone to live in this bedbug infestation, run away from there.

NOT A HOTELI booked a twin room at short notice for the same day on August 4th. - 06.08.Price 81€ for 2 people. A room alone. The hotel is very inconspicuous/poorly signposted, so it took us a while to find it.When we finally stood in front of it and searched the first floor for a contact person without results, we received instructions over the phone to open a key box outside. We were then informed that the twin room we had booked was occupied. Instead we got a four-bed room. No problem for me and my travel companion, we got the room to ourselves - that was all we wanted. The room was very clean, only the window sill was dirty. The beds looked absolutely new (2 double bunk beds)The room was equipped with 3 lockers that you could use for free, sockets weren't too well placed, but there were enough.Only one chair in the room, TV on the floor, a small dessert table, trash can and a mirrorYou can ventilate very well through the large windows. The bathroom was clean and the showers looked good.Free WiFi worked and I was also able to find a free parking space.Based on the older bad reviews, I can only assume that it was renovated. Conclusion: good price/performance ratio for a clean, quiet place to sleep.Nothing more. You can get a room here for two or a small group at a good price (I for 20€ a night per person)Perfect if you're out and about during the day and exploring the city/surrounding area.In the evening you can sleep relaxed and freshen up.

!!!! worst experience ever.!!!First one of them booked my room and when I was there they didn't know about it.They are not available at the hotel. We have to call them and then they will come. it took 50-60 minutes. When I called the staff for the third time because it was taking a long time, he said "yes, one is coming, just be patient." I had to wait 60 minutes outside the door and at the end they said over the phone "sorry, we don't have a room For you, that was an internal communication problem."Therefore I cannot recommend the hotel to anyone. I will never go there again.

Dirty, beds not made (hair), it smelled: Solution: There was an opened package of garlic meatballs in a drawer. We stayed overnight in the summer in a jogging suit with a hat on and socks. (No other accommodation option found) (forgot to post earlier, trip was a year ago, but that doesn't make it any better)Bad experience. I didn't think there was something like that in Germany.

It's less of a hotel and more of an expensive place to stay...1. There is no reception. This “hotel” is much more like a converted normal apartment with several rooms. You can only get the code in the key boxes by telephone.2. In terms of price-performance ratio, it's really below all cannon: 3 adults and 1 child for 125€. Instead, they were given a 10 square meter room with two double bunk beds, which had neither a ladder nor a railing for those sleeping upstairs. This is quite inconvenient for children... There was also only one socket and only one shared bathroom with a unisex wash basin, and two toilets and showers separated by gender.3. The cleanliness and hygiene of this “hotel” made me want to have it completely disinfected. In the desk drawer and under the bed were various used tissues and an empty jelly bean cup. The showers were full of dirt. Everything completely calcified, with toothpaste stains and hair in the drain. One of the shower drains would also appreciate a bottle of Clorex, as it hardly drains. The television was extremely dusty. For one night it was just fine. If I had booked there longer, we would have looked for another hotel...

Catastrophic conditions. The positive reviews must come from the hotel operator themselves. It's not a hotel!!!! Just a dump!!!! No staff available. I was in the toilet shower room and got panicky because the door wouldn't open anymore. When I pulled and shook the door in anger, it opened. The door was jammed and not serviced at all. One shower syringe went everywhere because the hose was defective and the other was blocked. As a hotel there should be staff there. In addition, there is no emergency plan in the event of a fire. No fire alarm system or sprinkler system. The door latches and locks could use a drop of oil again. Afterwards I have the feeling that something is wrong here and the whole thing is a good milk cow. In addition, the messages do not match whether the bill has been paid or not. He wanted to force us to come back immediately and pay everything in cash, even though he assured us that it had been debited via Visa card. Funny thing. Finally, I canLeaving Hamburg with a strange feeling. So the Kap Hotel is definitely not a hotel. The operator does not give his name and only signs with Kap Hotel. How come. ???? I'll ask the tax office as well as the city of Hamburg to get clarity.

It is a hostel and not a hotel, but the rooms and sanitary facilities were very clean. The price-performance ratio is very good!
