A large area with a volleyball net and plenty of meadow space for camping, with fruit trees. I was there with friends and we really enjoyed it. We camped for 5 days and had a wonderful boat tour on two days. The kitchen house is very cozy. We weren't far either, there was an athletics facility on the lake nearby.

Thanks again for the lovely weekend, we went to the canoe camp together as a band. We were looking for a relaxing and fun weekend in a quiet corner. And that's what we got. The course itself is in a very quiet location in Sternberger Burg. It is partly fenced in and offers everything you need between boat tours. There is also a very nice communal kitchen for the residents of the hut, a meadow, a volleyball field, a fireplace and a sanitary building with washing up facilities. All in all a very comfortable place. Loud music is not welcome, but the party takes place on the water anyway 😉.There are also 2 dogs on the site who gave us a very nice welcome ☺️.If we needed anything we could always contact the very nice, helpful operators, best regards ☺️.Regarding the tour itself, we wanted to have a fun, relaxing day on the water and the short tour from Weitendorf was recommended to us. Plus an inflatable boat. I can say that this was the right tour, we had no time stress and were able to comfortably float along the Warnow in a rubber dinghy. If I remember correctly, it was a 4km tour that we completed in about 4 or 5 hours, with breaks at rest stops along the way. We were driven to the site in an old Defender with a rubber dinghy, which I personally thought was really great. Very nice car 😋.There are also fishing opportunities, firstly on the Mildenitz, directly on site, otherwise in the Warnow. We then grilled our catch at the barbecue area after the tour.In the evening we sat by the fire place. We had one or two chatterboxes with us and in between. We had breakfast outside in the best sunshine, we were really lucky with the weather.I'm now looking forward to the next tour and would love to come back. The pictures show the communal kitchen, the covered dining area, barbecue area, fireplace and the building with the kitchen and to the right of it the cabins that can be rented.Until next time ☺️

We rented a kayak for the day. We received a very friendly welcome and were given great instructions. We received a map for the excursion destinations. The boat was very neat and the tour was great. We'd love to come back!

Spacious area for camping, good service. Have a euro ready for a shower - which is absolutely appropriate, but annoying when you don't have one.VERY IMPORTANT: great canoe tours possible from here.

Ahoy, dear adventurers and future dinghy captains! Here comes the story of our unforgettable rubber boat tour on the legendary Warnow, from Weitendorf to Groß Görnow, 9 kilometers away - presented by the fantastic Henning canoe camp in Sternberger Burg. Get ready for a day full of fun, friendly faces and a sense of adventure. It was a perfect day, the weather almost too good to be true - as if Mother Nature was in her best summer mood. Our crew, consisting of nine enthusiastic explorers and one cocky four-legged friend, sat down in the powerful inflatable boat. We glided gently down the Warnow like a shimmering ship's lantern in the calm water. The crew from Kanucamp Henning equipped us with everything we needed. Captain Henning greeted us with a smile as warm as the blazing midday sun and blessed us harbor sailors with knowledge of the waterways. On this epic odyssey, not only the two-legged friends enjoyed the wonderful nature, but also our four-legged companion, who explained the barbecue area as a personal adventure playground. Speaking of barbecue areas – that was the secret treasure of our trip! In addition to grilling sausages, vegetables, grilled cheese, and lemon and pepper chicken to smoky perfection, the youngest children formed a fateful friendship with the soccer field. The Henning Canoe Camp facility is a real gem that made our hearts shine in the glow of the setting sun. An oasis of joy for families with children, so beautiful that even the dog proudly wagged its tail to the peaceful melody of the Warnow.A video of our wonderful dinghy trip can be found at @michaellange9712In conclusion: If you miss this tour, you have missed one of Germany's most enchanting adventures. Many thanks to the Hennings for a perfectly orchestrated day - a symphony of fun, nature and unforgettable moments. Next time pack even more air in your boat, because every planetary traveler should experience this trip at least once! 🛶✨

Well-run family business.Campsite, canoe and dinghy rental. Wooden cabins can also be rented. The boats are driven to the launching points and picked up again at the launching points. We had a lot of fun with the rubber dinghy on the upper Warnow.

Five of us spontaneously came by and were welcomed with open arms. Everyone was really friendly to us. Even our Alberich male dog got a dog mat for paddling comfort. Alberich would give it six out of five stars, and so would we.
