Beautiful place and hotel, lovely food .Owner and staff very polite and helpful. Rooms nice and clean . Despite the fact that the hotel is located in the forest by the lake, I didn’t see any cobweb in the room or hotel. If I compare it with hotels in Great Britain this hotel is definitely better and cleaner. I would give more stars but google haven’t got any more than 5. Thank You.

Unfortunately, you can't give zero stars here because that corresponds to the service we experienced on site. When we arrived at the hotel we were briefly shown the lower floor and given the room key with the information that the room was upstairs. When we opened the door the room wasn't ready. The beds were unmade and the dirty towels were lying in a heap in the corner along with the old bed linen. When we told the service staff, the lady opened another room, which was in the same condition. With the remark “Then I don’t have a room for you. “Try the hotel next door,” the woman left us standing and disappeared. The service staff made no attempt to find a solution to the problem. After the experience and the insights we got into the hotel, we were happy that we were able to leave there again.

Yes, what can you say about that!?As already described in other reviews, there is nothing here as offered on the website. The pool area cannot be used, roof tiles are missing from the intermediate roof (which means that when it rains it runs through the wall in front of the door), our room smelled strongly of drainage, everything is worn out,...you have to be careful when sitting on chairs in the room (not too lean back far...)To be on the safe side, we didn't actually go onto our friend's balcony; the boards didn't look very trustworthy. The outdoor areas are also not very well maintained. The best thing about our weekend was the food next door at the competition...our kitchen was closed (breakfast was available) and so we were able to get our half board next door. The service staff at the hotel were very friendly, but unfortunately also forgetful.Of course the view is very nice if you get a room facing the lake but that no longer justifies these prices!!If something doesn't happen quickly and investment is not made, the old hotel will go down the drain!! Which would be a shame.

Nothing here corresponds to the brochure or advertising. We booked a hotel with a swimming pool, sauna, massage, restaurant and bar. We only got the hotel room with breakfast. The swimming pool is closed as is the sauna and massage. There are only 3 employees, but they are very friendly. The fact that the hotel was old and dilapidated wouldn't have bothered us as it was clean. But offering services and charging for them that don't even exist is a disgrace. We definitely won't be coming back!

The website and the house brochure completely contradict the impressions found. The location is good but the entrance area was not used. The umbrellas, which have never been opened, are dirty, few tables and seats, although the terrace is nice. Our room with a hardware store bed, a cupboard from the 1960s with no shelves, dark, and a window overgrown with all sorts of creatures didn't really deserve a star. The staff unqualified for the demands. The food came warmed up from the steamer, so there was nothing freshly fried. The owner was totally overwhelmed.Overall not recommended. We won't be coming back. The holiday fun factor was only available at the competition next door.

The price-performance ratio is completely fine.It is not easy to find a reasonable, quiet and not too expensive hotel, especially in high season. If you have higher expectations, you should pay more for your luxurious expectations. A cozy, clean place to stay with good food. Expecting more at this price is just outrageous.

The reviews vary considerably and I suspect the secret behind this is expectations. I booked a double room for single use during the high season. I paid €85 for this - directly with a view of the lake and (if at all) 1 minute away from the lake. Half board was extra if desired. In this case, I don't expect a first class hotel, but ideally a pleasant place to sleep, friendly staff and a contact person if I have any questions or concerns. I had all of that.First of all, the rooms were clean and considerably larger than expected. The old building helps you not to sweat too much in the summer. The building is very old and you can see that in some places:-definitely too few sockets (unplug the TV for the laptop, unplug 1 bedside lamp for charging cables from mobile devices)-The years can also be seen in the bathroom, chrome has chipped off at times and there are one or two rusty spotsI slept very well (comfortable bed, mattresses softer than hard), TV worked, it was clean. And even more important for me: it was really quiet!!!The staff was very friendly and interested across the board. The owner was available to help and advise and tried very hard to ensure that you had a pleasant stay. The ladies who were on hand to provide food and drinks in the evenings, for example, were also above-average friendly. The location is perfect if you are looking for something quiet. You can get everywhere by car or bike, and there are enough parking spaces behind the house. Charging an e-bike is rather difficult in the room because of the sockets - I would ask the boss if necessary, so I'm optimistic that there will be a solution.Half board includes an average breakfast. Baked rolls, different types of cold cuts, some juices, cheese, fruits, muesli, eggs... Not a luxury - but you get full and the sausage and cheese always looked fresh. In the evening there was one dish, so no choice. In our example, the dishes included both plaice and duck; it seemed freshly prepared to us and was without exception delicious. My friend (another single room) and I didn't use the sauna or the bathing area. I read up beforehand and knew roughly what to expect. If the focus is friendly staff, a quiet and affordable place to unwind for a few days, this is absolutely the right place for you.Anyone expecting an above-average selection and first-class, modern rooms will be disappointed.I don't rule out coming back.Tip: Contact the hotel directly to get an offer for a room. You find a solution. Important: There are different categories, including those with a lake view, a balcony or - if I looked correctly - a ground floor room.Pets are definitely allowed, I met several dog owners who all seemed happy.
