The first thing I noticed upon arrival was the missing curtain from the bedroom window. The plastic piece which once held the curtain rod was broken. We found the rod and curtain both shoved in the closet. Then I saw the mold covering the bathroom window. As we looked more closely, we saw spiderwebs EVERYWHERE - in all corners, and around all furniture and light fixtures. The smoke alarm in the bedroom was missing, and there was a big oil stain on the wall beside the stove. The wooden beam near the kitchen counter was completely covered in food splatters which I EASILY removed with a damp cloth. The glass in the door between the bedroom and kitchen looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since it was installed.ALL utensils and cups and glasses were dirty. Every item had to be washed before we could use them.At the end of our third day, my husband was finally able to get his email to go through to the realty company who operates the house. The next morning, we got a call that they would send someone later in the day to clean again. We’d intended to stay in and relax that day due to the bad weather, but instead, we tidied our things, stowed our valuables in the car, and trudged through the hard rain for the next 6 hours expecting to come back to a freshly cleaned apartment. However, after sacrificing our one day to lie around and rest, we discovered nobody had been there and we’d received no explanation as to why. With such a small space, it’s imperative that you utilize what little space you have in the best way possible, but this apartment is full of tables without drawers and stuffed completely full of unattractive decorations which leaves virtually zero space for you to store your things. There are so many cool and unique ways to maximize a small space, but whoever decorated this place clearly did it in a hurry and with very little thought. There wasn’t even a light in the kitchen. And the beds! Oh, the beds were probably the cheapest thing the furniture store had to offer. They’re incredibly soft, and really only suitable for supporting the weight of a child. The noise is also a huge problem. Everything from all other apartments can be easily heard. Nothing seems to be insulated. Finally, - and this is perhaps the biggest insult of all - we paid 731€ for a 22 square meter apartment for 5 nights only to find out that they don’t even provide toilet paper - the absolute most basic of essentials! My husband has been booking vacation apartments throughout Europe for the past 28 years, and in the 6+ years we’ve been together, we’ve avoided hotels as often as possible and, therefore, have almost exclusively rented vacation apartments. We also travel 6-10 times a year. This is the most expensive place we have ever rented, yet the very first that could not even be bothered to provide toilet paper. I will never do business with the Boltenhagener Apartment und Immobilien Service gmbh ever again. Unfortunately, they seem to operate a large number of the vacation rentals in this absolutely idyllic town which I would love to visit again, but I will be extra careful in the future to make sure whatever I book is not run by this company. We found advertisements all over town for bigger rentals which had full kitchens and were far cheaper than this shoebox - And, yes. We compared the prices from peak season to peak season. Not peak season prices at Victoria to low season prices from other places as the lady my husband complained to so insultingly suggested. The location, of Victoria, however, is tremendous, but this town is so small that basically everything is a good location, so don’t be fooled if they try to say the location is what makes this place so pricey.

One star goes to the always friendly and competent employees at BAIS, the landlord of the “Viktoria” country house. Otherwise: How big do the dollar signs have to be in the eyes of the owner when you cram seven(!) apartments into such a small, old, built-up house? There would have been plenty of room for three. The price-performance ratio is therefore very lopsided, even if the location of "Viktoria" is hard to beat, but nobody can do anything about that. Firstly: The bathroom is a disaster with the unsavory shower curtain and you shouldn't weigh more than 85 kilos in such a small space. Second: If you book two bedrooms as a guest, you don't expect a bedroom that is connected to the spiral staircase upstairs without a door. For that reason alone you shouldn't use the fireplace in the living room downstairs! Keyword: carbon monoxide. The second “bedroom” is more of a shack. The stated square footage of the apartment is an illusion because there are many slopes under the roof that are not usable! Third: The equipment sees a huge, dominant table of six; It's a nightmare having to live here with just four people. The kitchen equipment is sufficient, but there are no activities for children, not even a quartet game. The sparse "library" is more of a legacy from previous vacationers. Fourth: Conclusion - my husband and I have been coming to Boltenhagen for at least 12 years and mostly live in the "Likedeeler", where unfortunately nothing was available for this wonderful week in September. That's why we've booked there again for June 2024, because: "Viktoria" won't be there again.

Absolute country house charm! We didn't want to go to Boltenhagen, but we immediately fell in love with this country house. It is very cozy and original and there is no lack of furnishings. The smell of coniferous wood was reminiscent of childhood days and in just a few meters you are right by the sea. In the evening you can definitely look at the starry sky. Not to forget - the service from BAIS. So far we have not had a landlord who drove you to the property, picked up the key from there and obtained a summary directly on site - a great service. It's a shame that the apartments cannot be purchased.

Everything is ok, but it's not enough for 5 stars. Just the access, bumps/puddles on the slopes. Filling potholes, 2 men with a device in 1 day. 🤔Apartments are cozy, everything is a bit “old”. (Stove, kitchen light) It's great that it has a small radio - TV without function. Sat. disturbed.? Sea view possibly. In autumn.....🔭🏡Bai's team on the ball.😊❗

Cozy atmosphere. Under no circumstances should you use a fireplace... it produces soot. Piano is usable. From here most things are within walking distance. Well heated in winter... even without a fireplace.
