We spent 3 nights in one of the double rooms (servants' quarters).There was really nothing to complain about. Everything was clean and comfortable, nothing was missing. The small bathing and boat dock completes the deal. We did a little paddling - using the canoes is easy.Eating in the coach barn is highly recommended, the food is delicious, the service is friendly and quick. Important - it is not always open.Thanks to the nice service - we had forgotten something - it was sent to us free of charge.We'd love to come back.

A beautiful place to unwind. Fantastic location on Lake Schaalsee, super delicious fine cuisine. Very nice staff, we are thrilled and always enjoy coming to the coach barn. There are currently 5 artists exhibiting in the gallery above the restaurant (until Christmas time)! We were impressed by the diversity, paintings, ceramics of a special kind, sculptures, fractile insects and an author who, among other things, presents his Low German books!An absolutely worthwhile visit!

First I would like to say that the location is really fantastic. The service was also good.But our room was absolutely not worth the price! We slept in the “small lake view” room and the mattresses were SO sagging that we had springs in our backs!! It smelled musty everywhere - including the bed linen!! Spiders in the corners and spider webs - questionable as to how well it was cleaned! The toilet door doesn't fit properly into the frame, leaving large gaps everywhere and allowing everyone in the apartment to hear any noise.Sorry, for the price I absolutely NOT recommend staying there! In my opinion, it's extortionate and an absolute impudence to offer such sagging mattresses.

Were here on the way back from a day hike at coffee time - very friendly welcome, nice hot coffee and delicious apple cake. Everything was very neat and above all - clean!!We'd love to come back!!!

We spent a wonderful wedding weekend at Gut Groß Zecher.On the first day in a small group in the Inspector's House with a delicious selection of cakes. On the second day after the church wedding there was a large gathering in the coach barn and, thanks to the great weather, on the terrace right by the lake.The estate is simply perfect, especially for celebrations in such beautiful weather, the location in nature and right on the water is really great and the estate offers countless beautiful corners that can be explored in between or perfect for all your own wedding photos :) The Celebrating the first warm evening of the year right on the lake, it couldn't have been nicer!The barbecue buffet at the celebration was really tasty and varied and could be designed according to our wishes. It was also great that everything that didn't "go bad" was rebuilt later so that it served as a midnight snack.We would especially like to thank the whole team for the great service! We felt like we were in such good hands from the first minute, everyone was incredibly attentive and helpful, whether it was with preparing the decorations, the always filled glasses that we as a wedding couple kept bringing during the many photos, or putting up the pinatas at night the leader :)The entire planning process in advance was also completely pleasant and uncomplicated. The first day was a little more free and "self-organized" in one location and then the next day the big group with the full program could be celebrated in the other location and all the guests who wanted to stay overnight could also be accommodated in a variety of configurations exactly as we had and wanted.Thank you dear Gut Groß Zecher for a wonderful weekend!

Our family meeting with 14 adults and 4 children was a success. The accommodation in the inspector house was perfect. Great rooms, the winter garden offers enough space for meals together, the kitchen is professional, equipped with a refrigerator, professional dishwasher, 2 stoves, large oven, enough dishes and glasses. A highlight was the coffee machine with all the specialties.The surroundings are fantastic, clear lake with diverse ornithology. The forest is natural and has well-marked hiking trails.Thank you very much for your hospitality, we would love to come back!

We celebrated a wedding at the estate with family and friends at the weekend and were absolutely thrilled! First of all, I would like to mention the staff, who contributed significantly to a successful party with their good mood, flexibility, helpfulness and professionalism! Everyone was very attentive and kept an eye on what was happening and us guests at all times.The grill buffet was also well received by all guests! The estate is beautifully situated in nature, we were also lucky with the weather and were even able to use the terrace by the lake.We also slept on the estate for one night, which was a very practical option, so we didn't have to go to bed far after the party and were all able to have breakfast together the next morning. The rooms for overnight stays are very charmingly furnished, clean and decorated with great attention to detail. There is a star deduction here because I missed a lamp on the mirror in the bathroom. In my personal opinion, the breakfast the next morning could have been a little more lavish and varied, but everyone found what they were looking for and was full! :-) Other than that everything was wonderful.You can tell that everyone here puts their heart and soul into it. I'm sure that this wasn't my last wedding at Gut Groß Zecher and I'm already looking forward to the next one. Until then, a huge THANK YOU to the whole team, best regards and a very clear recommendation!

A great facility for eating, drinking and meeting. The food is excellent and the cakes are particularly recommended. The location is also phenomenal and gives you the feeling of a good holiday or if you want and need to spend a day here, this is an absolute place to relax. The employees are all super nice, friendly and obviously make the impossible possible. My full recommendation.

Even though it was only our second time there, we were greeted like friends. We had a delicious meal again and experienced an unforgettable lake trip by canoe. The rooms and all the other countless places to stay outside and inside are lovingly designed and clean anyway. This large and spacious idyll is our new favorite destination!
