It is a wonderful location on the Main with the chance of an evening dip. We camped here on our German cycle tour in August. the place set aside for tents was cramped and under a street lamp. The were notices outside the toilets telling residents to remove their shoes. The food in the restaurant was really basic = Currywurst, which after a hard day in the sun, does not cut it. The plus point however was the fresh white wine (still a bit frothy) served in half pint mugs.

The receptionist speaks several languages including English, she is attentive, polite, efficient, professional and helpful. Perfect for the tired driver needing overnight rest. The campsite itself is delightful on the river bank of the Danube (I think). Swam with dogs lots for children to do. Has its own cafe bar. Pricey but that's the world we live in. Would make a nice peaceful family holiday.

I do not recommend this camp site! When we arrived the receptionist told us we could eat something in the town nearby. It was 5 minutes with the car, she told us. When we came back the barriers were closed. Even though the receptionist didn’t tell us to keep the closing time in mind. We called the phone number and the lady hangs us up out of nowhere because it was “no emergency”.When we called back we got a very aggressive man on the line. He screamed at us and also hang us up.Eventually we had to sleep on the parking lot..We don’t get our money back because we used “their property”: 47 euros for a night at a parking lot. She also threatened me that she has us on the security cameras! Very rude and agressive service please don’t go here !

Very crowded cramped site. Can't swing a cat between vans. Facilities old and not fit for purpose at the prices charged. Extra for electric and shower. Plus, 10 per cent uplift for using a visa or MasterCard debit and prepaid cards! Location good for town, but there is a stellplatz actually in town.

Great site which is in the process of modernising. Beautiful views of the countryside and vinyards. Parked our camper right by the river which was lovely. Nice bistro on site and shuttle service to tram station. Would recommend.

Quiet location on the river is lovely and it’s only 5kms to Wurzburg. The only drawback for us was the lack of doors on the showers. Otherwise, a decent place for 1 or 2 nights.

We stopped here for one night on our travels. The welcome was friendly, but the facilities were quite basic, especially given the size of the site. …
