A visit to the Waldlust Hotel is like a journey into the past. The atmosphere of the old hotel is unique and you can feel the history in every corner. The building itself is an impressive piece of architecture that has stood the test of time for decades. Anyone who loves old buildings and is interested in abandoned places will have fun here. However, it is less of a typical hotel and more of a monument to be explored. Some of the rooms are dilapidated, which only adds to the charm and mysticism of this place. For history buffs or those looking for a slightly different kind of adventure, it's definitely worth a visit!

I was there on a Saturday to take photos. At the beginning there was a short introduction and information about the former hotel. It was very interesting, a lot of rooms and inventory is still in good condition. Some rooms are a bit dilapidated or no longer furnished. The 4 hours you have are very quick and I definitely have to go there again. Was great

What a wonderful lost place. Respect and recognition for the Waldlust monument friends, who put a lot of effort into ensuring that this former grand hotel can live on. Thanks to art activities, the place is currently experiencing a temporary new life. I'll be back in August when floors 1-4 can also be visited. Very big recommendation

It is a very impressive place. Because of the information you receive in advance, your head goes crazy (at least for me). We received a very friendly welcome and were then able to explore and take photos of the venerable hotel on our own. Admittedly, it's not cheap, but if you look at the work of the club, you're happy to give it.

I wouldn't call it a lost place, but as an urbex it's a great place. It's so interesting to go from room to room and see how time passes by in the place. What I found most amazing is that you can actually see everything from the basement to the roof, every room is open.

The old man in the entrance with his walking stick is very unfriendly and treats people based on their appearance. The building was very interesting but as I said the team screwed everything up.

Nice lost place, which is still moderated by guided tours if you want that. Or explore on your own, but it's not really a completely abandoned house.

Beautiful lost place, very impressive old castle hotel from 1902. Unfortunately there was no guided tour that day.

A very nice hotel that has been preserved thanks to monument lovers. It invites you to travel back in time to the golden era of the Black Forest. I can only warmly recommend this place to everyone and would also like to ask for support for the Monument Friends, Waldlust e.V.?
