We found this hotel by chance and had a terrific stay. A rare gem. The price was well worth the comfort, charm and convenience that the property and its hosts Arne and Jonathan had to offer. We are looking forward to a return stay next year!

Stayed there last year when the hotel had just reopened after renovations. Spacious and beautiful rooms with balcony, a lot of privacy (some rooms have views to trees), quiet at night, comfortable beds, relaxing sauna and pool facilities with complimentary teas, staff was very welcoming. Would recommend it without hesitation.

There weren't many good options for an overnight stay in Freudenstadt, so we were happy to find this hotel for the first night of our 3 day/2 night Black Forest tour. Our room was spacious and included a refrigerator, the TV had family friendly channels for our son, the shower was hot with good water pressure, the bed was pretty comfortable, and everything was clean. We also appreciated the underground parking and short drive into the center of Freudenstadt. What really made this place stand out though was the friendly staff and impressive breakfast buffet. We felt warmly welcomed by the woman at reception and well taken care of by the breakfast staff. The breakfast included the usual things you get at a European hotel but also some things you don't, such as scrambled eggs and sausage. We also enjoyed the pool, although the water was chilly so we couldn't stay in long. Our only gripe was with the poor WiFi signal in our room (we were on the 3rd floor at the end of the hall, so that probably didn't help).

Lovely traditional German hotel in the suburbs of Freudenstadt. It had a bath with shower over, which was slippery and rather outdated nowadays. Good underground parking. Large, spacious bedroom - very quiet and comfortable. Excellent fresh breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff, plus a nice free indoor swimming pool. Good value too at around €85 for two including breakfast. I'd be happy to stay here again.
