Upon arrival, even though I had messaged them to confirm I'd need a late check in, they had no record of my booking. Eventually they found it.The hotel is listed as four stars, and it definitely is NOT. The deco is old, the safe in my room was broken, there was dirt on the bathroom floor, and even hair.It's a great location though if you want a cheap stay in central Berlin.

I have enjoyed my stay here. Our rooms (we stayed with a couple of friends) were nice and clean. Particularly our deluxe room was amazingly huge. Friendly staff and tasty. We will be definitely coming back.

It should have 2 stars!In front of the elevator, it stank of p1ss from the ladies toilet.Not enough light in the room and toilet.The ventilator in the toilet was very noisy and didn’t take out any air.There was mud on the toilet door.The bathtub couldn’t hold the water at all. The ventil was out to low so you could only fill the bathtub half.The elevator was extremely slow and the buttons for handicap didn’t work.The buffet was boring and only one heater worked for heating the bread.No fitness room - it’s a 4-star hotel!The reception looks like a 2-star hotel.The toilet door could not close.

Just finishing a 6 day stay at this hotel and I was incredibly pleased with everything. The rooms are very clean and a good enough size. The bathroom is very good. Breakfast was more than satisfactory, food was well prepared and there was more than enough. Room service and check in all very professional and straightforward. The location is excellent, particularly if you are a gay traveller as it's very central to the gay district. You are also very close to a U-bahn station and to KaDeWe. I very enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend to other visitors.

I previously stayed at this hotel a few years ago and was very impressed and will be staying here again next month.The reception team were able to accommodate all of my needs, were friendly and attentive.The hotel’s cleanliness is impeccable and I was very impressed with the room I stayed in. The room had high ceilings, a big comfy bed and plenty of storage space. The bathroom was well equipped and the housekeeping team kept it well stocked.Despite my room being on the front of the building, there was no noise from the outside and the street in particular does not receive heavy traffic.The hotel’s bar has a great ambience and again the staff were friendly and approachable. As a lone traveller, I did not feel awkward at any point.The hotel is situated in a lovely neighbourhood and the Wittenbergplatz underground station is well within walking distance, making access to the rest of Berlin very convenient.There are also plenty of local cafes, bakeries, bars and restaurants that I would highly recommend.

I cannot recommend this hotel - not for business trips and not for short leisure trips.The staff is unprofessional and especially unfriendly. The first night I checked in, it took the reception 20 minutes to check me in although I was the only guest and then she gave me the wrong room and I had to move rooms in the middle of the night. Then she gave me a room where the light in the bathroom didn’t work and the tiles in the shower were dirty. The next day I had an unfriendly encounter with her colleague that took over. She was bossy and unfriendly, barely tried to help me with my needs which I expect from a 4 Star Hotel. The elevator is very slow. In my room paint came off the walls near the windows. Loud beeping noises from a loading area can be heard when you open the window. The mini bar was empty. It felt more like 1 or 2 Stars than the expected 4 Stars. I cannot recommend this hotel at all - please stay somewhere else if you want to enjoy your stay. It’s just not worth it for the price and it’s not even close to holding its promises in terms of comfort and being treated like a guest.
