Simple, traditional and great value. Everything you could ask for. Lovely safe neighbourhood with amazing travel connections, nice period building, good plumbing, and a healthy, reliable breakfast included. Quiet so we slept really well. I would never want to stay in a fancy luxury hotel because I’d rather have more money to spend on the incredible food and attractions to be found in Berlin.

Really cosy, old-fashioned Bed&Breakfast! Staff were friendly and provided everything I asked for, I had a nice, big room with my own bathroom, everything was clean, room features are the basics - hairdryer, Cable tv, 1 closet, towels - breakfast is in a nice, cozy room, continental styled. I had to checkout early for a business appointment, and it was no problem to have breakfast a little earlier! Do not expect anything modern, it's a building from another century and that makes up its charm!

Superb location. 15 minutes on foot to get to the Zoo or Ku-damm. Quiet place and nice view from the window. The rooms are old-fashioned, but not a con at all, so different from other places, Ikea-furnished I have been to. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Good price.

So far, I think it's cute & old-fashioned. Comfortable beds. I LOVE the building details: high-ceilings, beautifully carved rams head front door, amazing staircase (there's a lift too). It's not prissy, if you expect a chain-hotel experience this isn't for you.

The bed and breakfast could be cleaner. We arrived there at night and in the morning after my shower I noticed that the floor was so dusty like it hadn't been swept. They also claim that they have a business center, but when we asked to use a computer or to print a document, they said they dont offer anything like that. The bed and breakfast also has signs for no smoking but it smells like smoke. It smelled like the older lady was smoking in the office which was right next to our room. We would definitely not come stay here again.

Staff are friendly and breakfast is good. Hotel is a bit dated and smells damp in our room a long with noisy water pipes. But you get what you pay for so it's ok, train station is a short walk and about 10-15 minute ride in to central Berlin.
