I'm staying here now for a week. Based on some reviews I expected less, actually the room is quite nice and normal size by European standards - you won't get a suite :) Everything is clean and comfortable. The staff has been very nice and helpful. Speedtest for Wi-Fi in the Berlin room is 101dn/34up - good speeds. Breakfast is good. Location is excellent. I would stay here again.

For how much this room was ($180) I should not be hearing my neighbors talking and showering. The room is way too small I feel like I’m in the dorm. Walls are paper thin to the point I can’t sleep. The room is only small enough for one person and a backpack. No air conditioning either and could hear people walking down the street. Worst experience. Only neat part is it’s near the train

I was stay staying at this hotel from 2 to 3 August with my husband. This night became the worst hotel experience ever. We arrived late in the evening of 2 August and were met by a very unfriendly and poor looking night watch from hell…. We ended up arguing around two hours with him before finally getting a room.Other guests tried to help, explaining to him that we needed a room for the night. We were for external reasons forced to make a stop in Germany on our way from Marocco to Norway and we were really tired. The room was clean and the next hotel shift was nice and polite, but could not eliminate the impression from the evening before, which made it impossible for us to relax and enjoy a good night’s sleep. We were really shocked by the poor service and long arguing, instead of a kind welcoming. Unfortunately, the short visit to Germany did not leave us with any good feelings. Our choice next time will definitely be to stay far away from Hotel Imperial in Düsseldorf.I wrote this honest review to warn other people. One person can destroy a hotel alone. This happend to us at Imperial Hotel in Dusseldorf.

Small hotel and small rooms but decent for singles. Rooms are labeled by city names, my room Los Angeles faces the street side and gets rather noisy at night which doesn't bother me much, but if sounds bothers you, best to request for a …

The single bedroom was too small, ever than expected. The staff were helpful, breakfast has the minimum required, duplicate itself everyday. Was Convenient due to proximity to metro, bus, tram and nearby shops. Safe is too small for a laptop or even an ipad mini.

The location is advantageous, a walk away from the old town and the market. The service is good and the rooms are very clean. One problem is the wifi. U need to get a paper from the reception and log in again each time you leave the hotel. The breakfast is well varied. Some missing options like a vending machine and shoes polisher.

A one-night stay, comfortable, helpful and friendly, with an attractive breakfast room. As we were driving, the underground garage was very welcome - but you do need to book a space. Also good that one can get coffee in the reception area, along with help-yourself biscuits and sweets!
