One star because of the location and the nice view from the bar upstairs. Zero stars (as several places in Germany) in terms of customer service, absolutely horrendous. Just choose Mediterranean, forget about these "fancy" places where waiters are worse than robots. We were there today, Saturday evening to be precise, place is rather new, location is as central as it gets, it was not full at all, and YET we had to ask TWICE for our order to be taken. Then we paid, among other things, 16.5 EUR on a pastrami sandwich which was so small and mostly tasteless that I felt robbed. At the end, we wanted to pay the bill and the waitress asked us what did we order because she had no idea and was asking other colleagues if they knew what we had. Says it all! For some reason, in Germany at least, people who are supposed to serve you (as a customer) somehow feel entitled in their jobs as if they do something special. I guess their mind is like "I served you the food, be happy that it's still edible, what else do you want?" They should do some trainings somewhere along the Mediterranean to understand what customer service actually means!

Review for bar that is great inside with cool view but absolutely horrible service. Was there over an hour on a weekday afternoon when it wasn’t busy at all and the drink order never arrived. Finally gave up and left. Find a 17€ cocktail some place else.

I was there today with my husband and daughter, it was only open to non-hotel guests from 4 p.m., unfortunately there was no information on the website.I was there again with my daughter at 4 p.m. Very bad service. It took a long time before we could even order anything. We ordered a Coke, a Pinot Gris, a sandwich and a cheese plate. The drinks came after a long time, the food didn't. After 1.5 hours we paid for the drinks and left. The view and the ambience are actually perfect, but unfortunately everything is ruined - a real shame.

Great bar with a very nice terrace, and also a few rooms. Unfortunately, a hotel without a parking garage, without right of way and without taxi right of way does not work. If guests arrive without local knowledge or language skills and enter the address, they will end up in the Fuzo. Walking to the entrance in the rain with 3 suitcases and bags is fun, as you also need them to avoid the journey

Where should I start! The reception or check-in was accompanied by rude and impolite behavior on the part of the reception staff. When the payment wasn't quick enough, I said: I'm waiting for you! When we pointed out that this way of dealing with hotel guests was unacceptable, we just snapped back. The rooms are ok, but nothing special, just Motel One standard. Being woken up twice by housekeeping on a Saturday morning is simply unacceptable. The view of the bar is very nice, snacks and drinks are fine, but the service is extremely overwhelmed and it is obvious that this is not trained and attentive catering staff. The lighting is irritatingly bright and the bar is untidy. The “bouncer” at the entrance to the hotel is extremely unpleasant and asks in an extremely flippant and rude manner whether you are a hotel guest or want to go to the bar. If the latter is the case, it was said several times that it was full - although we saw above that it was almost empty. The same thing happened to us with the night porters. THIS JUST DOESN’T WORK!All in all we had a really disappointing stay at The Cloud one and will not be returning as we were so excited about this new concept. When we left we politely pointed out the shortcomings, but we were only looked at with wide-eyed and incomprehension - no question, no apology!I am a passionate Motel One guest and am used to a different service.

We were only in the bar with a group of 25 people. The atmosphere is very nice, the music is good, unfortunately the staff didn't really get going. We had to wait a long time before we could order drinks, with every new round.

As always the pros/cons:+ Location+ Staff nice+ Comfortable beds+ Bar including ambience- Two nights = 2x false fire alarms- Breakfast no omelette or eggs, except these “scrambled eggs”- Barely any snacks at the bar in the evening- Taxi cannot go to the hotel- Room for 2 people too small for this price- Air conditioning didn't work! newly opened!Yes you can book but I had better hotels where they were significantly cheaper.I can only give it 2 stars because I was only able to sleep a total of 6 hours in 2 nights. For 500€!
