We arrived around 8pm and found the reception closed. A note saying they sent an email with a code to open the lockbox wherein our room card lies. It took a while to find the email in the junk box. It was a bit hard to identify as it was in German from an unrecognized sender. Our room had a water boiler, coffee maker and microwave oven. There’s also the odd inclusion of a cook pot, a set of bowls and utensils. There’s also a barely functioning mini fridge. I am not sure what they had in mind with this setup, because it’s not enough to cook, but it is definitely quite convenient for making tea and coffee + light breakfast. For 3 people, they had a queen sized bed consisting of 2 twins, and a separate twin bed.The door lock works but took a few trials to figure out how to turn it properly so it would lock.We arrived by train. It felt very far to walk from station to the hotel at night. Lots of intersections and quiet, dark, empty streets to pass through. But it is decently close to the tourist area in exchange for being farther away from train station.Overall it would seem the place has good intentions in mind, but the implementation can feel awkward and not all the way there. I was not happy with the check-in process, but was very happy with being able to boil water and make hot drinks. I would recommend, but look out for that email if you arrive after 6pm.

The studio room given to us was spacious, but there was no housekeeping service available, unless you pay extra. Though this is clearly stated in the booking advice, I found it very surprising for Nomad 'serviced apartments' , especially since we stayed 4 nights. We walked to the reception on the parallel street on 2 consecutive days to complain that our TV had no signal, but nothing was done. Clearly you are left alone once you book.

Serious Safety concern! We ran into several issues, but the most serious is that other guests can enter your room, even if you lock it. Sort by the lowest reviews on booking.com... and you will get a clearer picture. This property owns several buildings, which is why the ratings are all over the place. You're gambling on which building they'll put you in. The pictures don't mean anything.1. Unclear directions to get in. 3 groups with different bookings worked together to figure things out (they own several properties at different addresses).2. When we spoke with staff on the phone, they gave two couples access to UNIVERSAL tokens to access all the rooms they own. 😳 We tested, and even if another guest locked their door from inside, we could enter their room. And it seems they do this all the time. This is a huge safety concern that needs to be addressed!3. Our room stank like cat pee. Really bad!4. They offered a refund due to all the issues, but then ghosted us.I would highly suggest you find another place.

We booked one night at this hotel but it was truly the worst experience! The photos on booking and the actual place is NOT the same!! The furniture is very outdated and there is no air conditioning in the rooms. The rooms are so hot, and the fan they had was VERY loud. The weather was 30 degrees outside and we couldn't sleep the whole night. Worst experience ever.

I am only giving this hotel two stars because of the great location and comfortable beds. The toilet in our room did not work since the water pressure on the third floor wouldn't allow anything to go down after flushing. We would have to hold down the number two button for 30 seconds to get anything to flush away. A staff member told us to use another bathroom on the third floor, because ours wasn't working properly. The shower/tub heater was broken and there was no divider so the floor was soaked after showering. The towel warmer was completely rusted through and the paint was peeling off onto the floor. The fan in the bathroom also didn't work properly so the humidity, or smell, would go straight into our room. We also didn't have a security lock on our door and the main lock wouldn't lock. At one point a staff member came into our room and left immediately after seeing us. This made us feel unsafe so we slept with our luggages pressed against the door. It was very hot and humid on the top floor (third floor) and unfortunately the air conditioning barely worked. To make matters worse, our pillows were dirty and unusable. Please note that there are no elevators here. The last step is higher than the others, my father tripped and fell, resulted in an knee injury.

Never again. This was the worst experience in 10 years! First off, as we arrived, I tried to get my card from the safe, using the code. But the card was not there. After calling the "die Notfallnummer" the man told me, that someone else took my card and reassured that my room is ready for me. He gave me a combination for a master key (!!!), so I could enter my room. When we entered the room - THERE WAS ANOTHER MAN THERE. This is really humiliating experience. Basically guests are not guaranteed, that, in case of overbooking, anybody can walk into the room at any moment, because they are issued the master key. We slept with the chair blocking the door! Eventually, they gave us another room for the night, that was smaller than we booked. The next day they told us that we can move to similar room, but guess what - it was not cleaned. We had to wait again, until it will be cleaned. This was really bad experience. They should give up and never do hotel business ever.

Stayed there a week. They manage several hotels in the area, so you may not end up here. We were on the top floor at Nomad's around the corner. It was a very nice small apartment. I would stay there again. If you have a car make sure you reserve a spot and pay for it. Otherwise, chances are you will not find a place to park. It's a problem all over town. Once you park, you can walk everywhere from the hotel. To get in to the garage, you hold your "door key" under the apartment bells (see the picture). To get out of the garage you push the button on the wall that say open in English (see the picture).

Great room with comfortable beds, everything was clean, there was a little kitchenette, and a private bathroom which was also really clean. There is a TV. Soap and towels are provided. You can let your bags at the reception if you need to and the staff is really nice! The city center is 5-10 minutes away which is nice!

The studio was great, plenty of space, kitchen supplies, clean and comfortable. I didn't like, that some of the towels had old stains (apparently unable to come off), but still we were happy with our stay. 10 min walking to the center, 20 min from the Old Town.
