First of all, the owner, Niko, is such a kind host. He and his staff were wonderful. The food was very good, too. I loved the renovated bathroom, and the small radio in the wall was an unexpected surprise. …

I may be a bit biased because I spent several extended stays there. However, I believe this family operated hotel would have been equally kind even without extended stays.Having said that, there's no doubt the in-house restaurant (breakfast for guests, publicly open for dinner except Thursdays, no lunch except Sundays) easily among the, if not the best in the region including ladenburg across the river.German and Greek cuisine. Amazing even at the salad level.I really love this place and the family who runs it.Only negative, walls have zero sound insulation. Seems like an inexpensive useful investment that was unfortunately overlooked.

We stayed when we celebrated friend's Golden Wedding Anniversary. They had suggested the hotel as hotels in Heidelberg were very expensive. We had a double room which was very clean, spacious and comfortable. …

This is a small hotel, very clean, very friendly service. Breakfast is included, and is also simple, but does the job. Our room had no phone or clock, but did have a TV. Nico never seems to sleep! It is kid friendly. Would stay here again!

The Neckarperle is an older hotel but very well-kept-up. We had a double and a triple room - both were very clean and had comfortable beds. The hotel was perfect for our family's visit to Heidelberg - just 15 minute drive to the city. …
