We stayed at the hotel for two nights and are absolutely satisfied. My food intolerances make me a very stressful guest. But everyone was very friendly and did everything to make sure I was full. The staff is really very well trained and really welcoming. We stayed in the hotel with our son (2.5 years old) and they always made sure that he had everything. We had one of the newer rooms. Tip top clean. Bathroom integrated into the room, very modern and spacious. Everything you need is there. We also ate in the restaurant one evening, even though the prices are a bit high, the food there is definitely worth it. All in all, we were very satisfied and would be happy to come back on our next visit. Kind regards, the Ferenz family

We had a great, completely new comfort double room on the 2nd floor. Modern, color concept adapted to the restaurant area. Great shower. Wide beds, firm mattresses. Rooms at the back facing the forest are very quiet. Good breakfast with a reasonable selection of food and coffee variations.Dinner was good, except for the fried potatoes (from the deep fryer, greasy, no roasted aromas) and fries (dry, without mayo or similar, convenience) which didn't live up to the standards of the house. And the staff was slow (presumably trainees), long waiting times. And not well informed about food preparation/product knowledge. It is worth mentioning that it is a family business.

Unfortunately a disappointing hotel due to many little things that added up. For example, the door locks can be activated using a room card, but you then have to turn them several times to open and lock them?? The breakfast was also just below average and the showers were calcified. Even simple things like going out to eat in the evening are not possible without a car and the hotel restaurant is very good, but also priced accordingly. The room price was a bit high for that.

Too old room. I didn't have hot water for a shower for a day. Bad service. Stains on the chairs.Not recommendable.

I had actually booked a comfort room, but then found out that it was on the second floor and that the elevator didn't go there. I don't find it convenient to drag my luggage up to the second floor.Having to pay extra for a parking space is also grotesque. If there are legal regulations regarding the free provision of parking spaces, a solution can be found with the room description; other hotels and inns also manage to provide free parking space for guests. Additionally, it is impossible to charge for a parking space where you have to be lucky to find one if there is a wedding party taking up the parking space that day.

We were guests in the restaurant here. The food is absolutely delicious, visually beautiful and prepared with love. All ingredients were very high quality and regional. The menu selection is diverse and seasonal. The individual courses were very large and we think the price of €67 for a four-course menu is absolutely fair and reasonable. The service was very friendly and attentive.Thank you for a great evening! We'll be back. 😊

The Gasthaus zum Dörenberg is wonderfully located on hiking trails with plenty of parking spaces. Apart from the fact that the towels are a bit too thin, there is nothing to complain about and I am happy to give it 5 stars and would be happy to come back.

Even after the kitchen closed, it was possible for us to still have a delicious dinner. Service was top. Our room was in the annex building. In front of it there was a small terrace that we could use for an evening beer. You could hardly hear the main road directly in front of the hotel back there. The view from both the hotel terrace and our “private” terrace was beautiful. All in all a pleasant stay. Rooms were very clean and the great breakfast made the start of the day easier. We'd love to come back.

Attractively located in the Osnabrück region on Dörenberg, albeit on a federal highway.I can't say anything about the hotel, I've never stayed there.Last eaten on Valentine's Day, the Valentine's Day menu (5 courses).Very good cuisine and still portions that fill you up. It's almost a trap if you eat every course. You don't find that often in the district. The service was friendly, unobtrusive and yet always present. The chef and head chef personally asked at the table whether they liked the menu.Great, the only drawback: I don't go there too often.
