The food was really bad. I ate the most expensive meatball of my life. It should be a Mühlenburger. It was just a thick, tasteless meatball in a sticky bun with a salad garnish. Incredible. The schnitzel with mushroom sauce wasn't any better either. It's a shame, it was better years ago!

Delicious food and drink in a beautiful beer garden. The service was very friendly. I felt very comfortable for two hours and will definitely come back.

We were guests in the restaurant, which is extremely idyllic by a pond.However, our experiences with the restaurant itself were negative. We had to wait over an hour for our food.The food itself was below average - instead of fresh vegetables we were apparently served frozen food - the sauces were tasteless.On the other hand, the price was extremely excessive and considerably too expensive for the quality.

The single room was big enough and clean. Everything in good condition.A bit noisy.The breakfast was very good. Vegan options were also offered upon request. The early service with Mrs. P. at breakfast in particular was very friendly and helpful. I felt very well looked after here 😊The dinner in the restaurant was very good. The prices a little higher.When the weather is good you can sit outside by the pond and watch the carp, ducks etc.

Hello,I can't rate the hotel because we only ate at the Huxmühle.We were very, very disappointed with 5 people there. The restaurant was busy and we had to wait almost an hour for our food. When I asked repeatedly, the waitress always said: food is coming soon,Unfortunately there was no relationship between price and performance. The fresh vegetables advertised on the menu were clearly frozen goods. Unfortunately, the brawn was not recognizable as such and was indefinable.Meat was covered with plenty of sauce and mayo or ketchup was only available in prepackaged portions.The waitress didn't know which table to bring the food to.We won't be coming back.

Everything is great, food, rooms and surroundings but it is too loud in the rooms because in the next room you think you live alone in the world. Likewise the front door, which cannot be closed normally but always in such a way that everyone knows that the neighbors are back...

I can only rate the gastronomy since I didn't stay there. I've been living in Fledder and Voxtrup for a long time now, and since my childhood the Huxmühle has been an inn where you can stop off. However, your expectations should be clear in advance: Here you get a rustic and outdated outdoor area as well as a solid selection of German dishes. However, given these circumstances, I would expect the prices to be in the lower midfield.I ate a salad with chicken for 17.90 euros, which included a chicken breast, a generous farmer's salad, two slices of good bread and a sauce of your choice. The salad was neither seasoned nor refined without the sauce; it was raw food. Oil, vinegar, salt and pepper, as they are usually offered, were also missing.The rest of the menu is similarly priced. Unfortunately, I think that the price-performance ratio and the ambience no longer match here, and I will probably go to one of the many other restaurants nearby in the future.I have to say that you could get a lot more out of the Huxmühle and still remain competitive. In my opinion, the focus here is more on hotel operations, which are obviously used by some business travelers.I'm sorry to have to describe this relic from my past like that, I would have liked to have written a better review.Another 3 stars because the staff was really nice!

Attentive staff and good food, but totally overpriced. The ambience outside is reminiscent of an unkempt allotment garden from the 70s, the furniture is in very poor condition and is not visually appealing. The high prices are a real disgrace. It's a shame I can't post any pictures here. However, if you don't value ambience, you're in good hands here.
